Sectoral Deployment of Bank Credit - September 2020
Data on sectoral deployment of bank credit collected from select 33 scheduled commercial banks, accounting for about 90 per cent of the total non-food credit deployed by all scheduled commercial banks, for the month of September 2020 are set out in Statements I and II. Monetary Policy Statement, 2020-21 Resolution of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) October 7-9, 2020
On the basis of an assessment of the current and evolving macroeconomic situation, the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) at its meeting today (October 9, 2020) decided to: keep the policy repo rate under the liquidity adjustment facility (LAF) unchanged at 4.0 per cent.
