Draft Master Direction RBI/2025-26/ DOR.REG.No.XX/07.01.000/2025-26 July xx, 2025 Master Direction – Business Authorization for Co-operative Banks (Directions), 2025 In exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 23, 49B and 49C of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 read with Section 56 thereof and Sections 42(6) and 42(6A) of Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934, the Reserve Bank of India (hereinafter called the Reserve Bank) being satisfied that it is necessary and expedient in the public interest to do so, hereby issues the Directions hereinafter specified.
