RBI to issue of ₹ 100 banknotes with inset letter ‘L’
The Reserve Bank of India will shortly issue ₹ 100 denomination banknotes with three additional/revised features in the Mahatma Gandhi Series-2005, with inset letter ‘L’ in both the numbering panels, bearing the signature of Dr. Raghuram G. Rajan, Governor, Reserve Bank of India, and the year of printing '2015' printed on the reverse of the banknote. The design of these banknotes to be issued now is similar in all respects to the ₹ 100 banknotes in Mahatma Gandhi Seri

RBI extends Directions issued to the HCBL Co-operative Bank Ltd., Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh till October 15, 2016
The Reserve Bank of India has extended directions issued to the HCBL Co-operative Bank Ltd., Lucknow for a further period of six months from April 16, 2016 to October 15, 2016, subject to review. The bank had been under directions since the close of business on April 16, 2015 vide directive dated April 10, 2015 issued under Section 35A of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 (AACS). RBI issues Instructions on Priority Sector Lending Certificates; Launches Portal for Trading Them

While releasing the instructions, Shri S. S. एप्रिल 07, 2016 धोलपुर अर्बन सहकारी बँक लि., धोलपुर ह्यांना आरबीआयकडून दंड आकारणी बँकिंग विनियामक अधिनियम 1949 (सहकारी सोसायट्यांना लागु असलेला) च्या कलम 46 (4) सह वाचित, कलम 47 अ (1) (ब) च्या तरतुदींखाली तिला मिळालेल्या अधिकारांचा वापर करुन रिझर्व बँकेने, धोलपुर अर्बन सहकारी बँक लि., धोलपुर ह्यांना रु.1.00 लाख (रुपये एक लाख) दंड लावला आहे व तो दंड, तुमचा ग्राहक जाणा (केवायसी)/अँटी मनी लॉडरिंग (एएमएल) वरील मार्गदर्शक तत्वे/निदेशांचे उल्लंघन केल्याने लावण्यात आला आहे.
