Payment System Matrix (PSM) is an input in preparation of the Roadmap, PSM gives a summary of the payment systems, instruments, settlement mechanisms etc, This helps member countries in communicating with each other for understanding the systems and procedures as also to discuss/adopt best practices to bring systems on par. This is a step towards harmonisation.

All the member countries are to prepare a Risk mitigation matrix, as per their risk perceptions, for all the risk factors across payment systems operational in their countries.
