Overview

As per the decision of the 14th SAARCFINANCE Group Meeting held in Singapore in 2006, SAARC central banks regularly publish SAARCFINANCE e-Newsletter. Newsletter is a regular e-publication designed mainly to present macroeconomic developments of the SAARC region and various activities under the SAARCFINANCE. It covers macroeconomic vulnerability indicators of each country in the SAARC region.

The Reserve Bank of India revamped the newsletter in the new format with annual frequency during the SAARCFINANCE Chair in 2020. The annual e-Newsletter takes stock of the meetings, seminars and other initiatives under various areas of cooperation including, capacity building, collaborative studies, swaps, and scholarships. With an aim to encourage research and writings about the region; the annual e-Newsletter also include a section dedicated to articles from the officers of SAARC central banks.
