The Reserve Bank of India today placed on its website the seventeenth release under the series ‘Mint Street Memos (MSM)’ titled “The Impact of Crude Price Shock on India’s Current Account Deficit, Inflation and Fiscal Deficit”.

The paper authored by Saurabh Ghosh and Shekhar Tomar from Strategic Research Unit (SRU) looks at the quantitative impact of crude price shock on India’s three major macro-stability indicators: current account deficit (CAD), inflation and fiscal deficit.
