RBI releases the results of forward looking Surveys
The Reserve Bank of India today released on its website the results of the following Surveys: Consumer Confidence Survey (CCS) – November 2019 Inflation Expectations Survey of Households (IESH) – November 2019 Survey of Professional Forecasters on Macroeconomic Indicators–Round 61 The Survey results are based on the feedback received from the respondents to the Surveys and do not necessarily reflect the views of the Reserve Bank of India. Sectoral Deployment of Bank Credit - October 2019
Data on sectoral deployment of bank credit collected from select 39 scheduled commercial banks, accounting for about 90 per cent of the total non-food credit deployed by all scheduled commercial banks, for the month of October 2019 are set out in Statements I and II. Highlights of the sectoral deployment of bank credit are given below: On a year-on-year (y-o-y) basis, non-food bank credit growth decelerated to 8.3 per cent in October 2019 from 13.4 per cent in October
