RBI cancels the licence of Bhilwara Mahila Urban Co-operative Bank Ltd., Bhilwara, Rajasthan
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has, vide order dated August 23, 2018 cancelled the licence of Bhilwara Mahila Urban Co-operative Bank Ltd., Bhilwara, Rajasthan to carry on banking business, with effect from the close of business on August 31, 2018. The Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Rajasthan has also been requested to issue an order for winding up the bank and appoint a liquidator for the bank. Sectoral Deployment of Bank Credit - July 2018
Data on sectoral deployment of bank credit collected from select 41 scheduled commercial banks, accounting for about 90 per cent of the total non-food credit deployed by all scheduled commercial banks, for the month of July 2018 are set out in Statements I and II.
