Conversion of Government of India (GoI)’s Securities

The Reserve Bank of India, in consultation with the Government of India, has converted a security maturing in 2019-20, having a total face value of ₹1,086 crore, to longer tenor securities maturing in 2027-28. The transaction was conducted on January 21, 2019, with a scheduled commercial bank.
