ভারতীয় রিজার্ভ ব্যাঙ্ক (আরবিআই) 07, 2023 অগাস্ট তারিখের একটি আদেশ দ্বারা, বালি কো-অপারেটিভ ব্যাঙ্ক লিমিটেড, হাওড়া, পশ্চিমবঙ্গের (ব্যাঙ্ক) উপর ₹1,00,000/- (এক লক্ষ টাকা) আর্থিক জরিমানা আরোপ করেছে 'রিজার্ভ ব্যাঙ্ক অফ ইন্ডিয়া - (আপনার গ্রাহককে জানুন (কেওয়াইসি)) নির্দেশিকা, 2016-এর কিছু বিধান মেনে না চলার জন্য। ব্যাঙ্কিং রেগুলেশন অ্যাক্ট, 1949-এর ধারা 46 (4) (i) এবং 56 ধারা সহ পঠিত ধারা 47 A (1) (c) এর বিধানের অধীনে RBI-এ অর্পিত ক্ষমতা প্রয়োগে এই দণ্ড আরোপ করা হয়েছে।

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has imposed, by an order dated August 07, 2023, a monetary penalty of ₹50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) on The Aska Co-operative Central Bank Ltd., Aska (the bank) for non-compliance with certain provisions of the ‘Reserve Bank of India – (Know Your Customer (KYC)) Direction, 2016’. This penalty has been imposed in exercise of powers vested in RBI under the provisions of Section 47 A (1) (c) read with Section 46 (4) (i) and Section 56 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has, by an order dated August 03, 2023 imposed a monetary penalty of ₹2.00 lakh (Rupees Two lakh only) on The Islampur Urban Co-operative Bank Limited, Islampur, (Maharashtra) (the bank) for non-compliance with provisions of Section 26A read with Section 56 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 (BR Act) and certain provisions of the ‘Reserve Bank of India (Know Your Customer (KYC)) Directions, 2016’ and ‘Maintenance of Deposit Accounts-UCBs’. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has, by an order dated August 02, 2023 imposed a monetary penalty of ₹2.00 lakh (Rupees Two lakh only) on The Mahabaleshwar Urban Co-operative Bank Limited., Mahabaleshwar, Maharashtra (the bank) for contravention of provisions of Section 20A read with Section 56 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 (BR Act), specific directions issued by RBI under Supervisory Action Framework (SAF), and directions issued by RBI on ‘Maintenance of Deposit Accounts’ and ‘Know Your Customer (KYC)’. This penalty has been imposed in exercise of powers vested in RBI under the provisions of Section 47 A(1)(c) read with Sections 46(4)(i) and 56 of the BR Act.
