RBI Reference Rate for US $ and Euro
The Reserve Bank of India’s Reference Rate for the US dollar is `54.4800 and the Reference Rate for Euro is `72.2318 on February 21, 2013. The corresponding rates for the previous day (February 20, 2013) were `54.0510 and `72.5355 respectively. Based on the Reference Rate for the US dollar and middle rates of the cross-currency quotes, the exchange rates of GBP and JPY against the Rupee are given below: Currency Date February 20, 2013 February 21, 2013 1 GBP 83.4493 8

The Foreign Exchange Department, Mumbai Regional Office housed at C-7, 1st, 5th & 6th Floor, Bandra-Kurla Complex, Bandra (East), Mumbai-400 051 has since shifted to 1st Floor, Main Building, Reserve Bank of India, Foreign Exchange Department, Mumbai Regional Office, Shahid Bhagat Singh Road, Mumbai-400 001, as at the close of business of February 11, 2013. Investment by FIIs under PIS : M/s Havells India Ltd
The Reserve Bank of India today notified that M/s Havells India Ltd. has crossed the overall limit of 24 per cent of its paid-up capital. Therefore, no further purchases of share of this company would be allowed through stock exchanges in India on behalf of Foreign Institutional Investors. Apollo Tyres Limited has passed resolutions at the board of directors' level and a special resolution by the shareholders, to enhance the limit for purchase of its equity shares and convertible debentures by Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs), through primary market and stock exchanges, under the Portfolio Investment Scheme up to 40 per cent of its paid up capital.
