The Reserve Bank of India today released the data showing daily merchant and inter-bank transactions in foreign exchange for the period March 12, 2018 to March 16, 2018. Monitoring of Foreign Investment under PIS in Indian Companies - M/s TATA Chemicals Limited - Removal from Caution List-FPIs
The Reserve Bank of India has today notified that the foreign share holdings by FPIs under Portfolio Investment Scheme in M/s TATA Chemicals Limited have gone below the prescribed threshold caution limit stipulated under the extant FDI Policy and FEMA regulations. Hence, the restrictions placed on the purchase of shares of the above company vide Press Release 2015-16/2051 dated March 01, 2016 are withdrawn with immediate effect.
