RBI to conduct longer term Variable Rate Reverse Repo Auctions
The Reserve Bank monitors the system liquidity on an ongoing basis and conducts liquidity management operations based on an assessment of the evolving liquidity conditions and the requirements of the system. Based on an assessment of the current and evolving liquidity conditions, RBI has decided to conduct two Variable Rate Reverse Repo auctions as under: Sl. The Reserve Bank of India will conduct the following Variable Rate Reverse Repo auction on November 13, 2019, Wednesday, as per the revised guidelines on Term Repo Auctions issued on February 13, 2014.
