Report on Trend and Progress of Banking in India 2021-22
Today, the Reserve Bank of India released the Report on Trend and Progress of Banking in India 2021-22, a statutory publication in compliance with Section 36 (2) of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949. This Report presents the performance of the banking sector, including co-operative banks and non-banking financial institutions, during 2021-22 and 2022-23 so far. RBI Releases Fifth Volume of Reserve Bank History (1997-2008)
The fifth volume of the Reserve Bank of India’s history is released today. This volume encompasses the 11-year period from 1997 to 2008. With this volume, the history of the Reserve Bank of India is now updated up to 2008.
