Conducting Survey on Rural Indebtedness in Western Area (SRI-WA), Mumbai
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has decided to conduct a Survey on Rural Indebtedness in Western Area covering the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Chhattisgarh and UT of Daman & Diu and Dadra Nagar Haveli through a limited survey by an appropriate agency, focussing on backward areas/ tribal areas to get a better understanding of the issue of rural indebtedness for effective policy intervention. 2. The survey tool is designed in the form of a questionnaire seeking to gain insights into rural indebtedness levels across various demographic profiles. The survey is aimed at obtaining both qualitative and quantitative information on incidence of indebtedness and associated issues in the western area alongside the socio-economic aspects of the households. 3. This notice is being published for information only and is not an open invitation to quote in this limited tender. Participation in this tender is by invitation only and is limited to the selected Procuring Entity’s enlisted contractors. Unsolicited offers are liable to be ignored. However, contractors who desire to participate in such tenders in future may apply for enlistment with RBI as per procedure. |
