Engagement of Media Personnel for Department of Communication- Written Examination - List of Admitted/ Rejected candidates

In Advertisement 4A/2009-10 published in the Employment News/Rozgar Samachar dated January 02-08, 2010, it was stated against item 4 : Scheme of Selection, that “Time and Venue of Written Examination (WE) and interview will be intimated to the candidates in due course. We had not specified the date of WE in the advertisement.

In this connection it is stated that WE of two hours duration will be held form 09.30 am to 11.30 am on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at our Regional Offices at Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi and Patna for the captioned engagements. Lists of candidates who have been admitted for the WE and those who have been rejected are appended. The candidates have been advised separately by way of Admission Letter (AL) and Rejection advices, respectively by Post. Those candidates who have been admitted for WE but who do not get their AL before March 17, 2010 may approach nearest Regional Office of the Bank along with two copies of recent photograh and identity proof to get a Duplicate Admission Letter.

It has come to the notice of Reserve Bank of India that some fraudsters falsely promising to offer job for the posts in the bank are sending Appointment letters through emails by using fake domains which do not belong to the Reserve Bank of India, but these could be deceptively similar involving use of words such as RBI, RESERVEBANK, etc.

It is hereby clarified that recruitments for various posts filled by the bank are advertised on our official website. Also, all details regarding recruitment e.g. Call letters, interview schedule, final result, etc., are published only on our official website https://opportunities.rbi.org.in. In view of this, the Reserve Bank of India cautions members of public to be aware of such fake Appointment letters issued by fraudsters promising job in the Bank. Any Advertisements/ Communication from other sources should be cross verified for authenticity from the website.
