RBI releases “Draft Guidelines for ‘on tap’ Licensing of Small Finance Banks in the Private Sector”
Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in its Second Bi-monthly Monetary Policy Statement, 2019-20 dated June 06, 2019 announced that it is proposed to issue Draft Guidelines for ‘on tap’ Licensing of Small Finance Banks. Accordingly, RBI has today released on its website ‘Draft Guidelines for ‘on tap’ Licensing of Small Finance Banks in the Private Sector’ for comments of stakeholders and members of the public. Suggestions and comments on the draft guidelines may be sent by October 12, 2019 to the Chief General Manager, Reserve Bank of India, Department of Banking Regulation, Central Office, 13th floor, Central Office Building, Shahid Bhagat Singh Marg, Mumbai, 400001.
