In this connection, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has informed about UNSC press releases SC/14913 and SC/14914, both dated 27 May 2022, regarding amendments specified with underline and strikethrough in 6 entries (individuals) {2 entries vide UNSC Press Release SC/14913 + 4 entries vide UNSC Press Release SC/14914}. 3. With reference to SC/14913, the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) Committee pursuant to Resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), Al-Qaida & associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities has enacted the amendments specified with underline and strikethrough in the entries below on its ISIL (Da’esh) and Al-Qaida Sanctions List of individuals and entities subject to the assets freeze, travel ban and arms embargo set out in paragraph 1 of Security Council resolution 2610 (2021), and adopted under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations.
