The Reserve Bank of India today released the 2nd volume of the annual publication titled ‘Primary (Urban) Co-operative Banks’ Outlook 2014-15’. The publication be accessed at http://dbie.rbi.org.in/DBIE/dbie.rbi?site=publications#!13. The publication has been brought out by the Department of Co-operative Bank Supervision of the Reserve Bank of India.

The publication covers the financial accounts of Scheduled and Non-Scheduled Primary (Urban) Co-operative Banks for the financial year 2014-15. It provides aggregate information on major items of balance sheet, profit and loss account, non-performing assets, financial ratios, state-wise distribution of offices and details of priority sector advances. In addition, the publication provides bank-wise information of Scheduled Primary (Urban) Co-operative Banks on select financial ratios on Capital Adequacy, Profitability, and Employee Productivity. This year two new bank-wise tables on balance sheet and profit and loss account of scheduled UCBs have been added in the publication.

The publication is being brought out only in electronic form on an annual basis on the Reserve Bank’s website through the Database on Indian Economy (DBIE) link (http://dbie.rbi.org.in). There will be no hard copies of the publication.
