Underwriting Auction for sale of Government Securities for ₹30,000 crore on February 10, 2023
The Government of India has announced the sale (re-issue) of Government Securities, as detailed below, through auctions to be held on February 10, 2023. Premature redemption under Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB) Scheme- Redemption Price for premature redemption due on February 08, 2023 (SGB 2016-I)
In terms of GOI Notification F.No.4(19) - W&M/2014 dated Jan 14, 2016 (SGB 2016-I -Issue date February 08, 2016) on Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, premature redemption of Gold Bond may be permitted after fifth year from the date of issue of such Gold Bond on the date on which interest is payable.
