Review of Requirement of Counter-Cyclical Capital Buffer
The framework on countercyclical capital buffer (CCyB) was put in place by the Reserve Bank in terms of guidelines issued on February 5, 2015 wherein it was advised that the CCyB would be activated as and when the circumstances warranted, and that the decision would normally be pre-announced. Lending and Deposit Rates of Scheduled Commercial Banks - March 2023
Data on lending and deposit rates of scheduled commercial banks (SCBs) (excluding regional rural banks and small finance banks) for the month of March 2023. Highlights: Lending Rates: The weighted average lending rate (WALR) on fresh rupee loans of SCBs increased by 24 basis points (bps) from 9.00 per cent in January 2023 to 9.24 per cent in February 2023. The WALR on outstanding rupee loans of SCBs increased by 9 bps from 9.58 per cent in January 2023 to 9.67 per cen

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates (CBUAE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today in Abu Dhabi, to enhance cooperation and jointly enable innovation in financial products and services.
