Lending and Deposit Rates of Scheduled Commercial Banks - November 2022
Data on lending and deposit rates of scheduled commercial banks (SCBs) (excluding regional rural banks and small finance banks) for the month of November 2022. Highlights: Lending Rates: The weighted average lending rate (WALR) on fresh rupee loans of SCBs increased by 09 basis points (bps) from 8.59 per cent in September 2022 to 8.68 per cent in October 2022. The WALR on outstanding rupee loans of SCBs increased by 13 bps from 9.22 per cent in September 2022 to 9.35

Today, the Reserve Bank released quarterly statistics on deposits and credit of scheduled commercial banks (SCBs), September 2022 on its Database on Indian Economy (DBIE) portal (web-link: https://dbie.rbi.org.in/DBIE/dbie.rbi?site=publications#!3). All-India House Price Index (HPI) for Q2:2022-23
Today, the Reserve Bank released its quarterly house price index (HPI)1 (base: 2010-11=100) for Q2:2022-23, based on transaction-level data received from the registration authorities in ten major cities (viz., Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Mumbai).
