Recruitment of Security Guards in RBI, Kolkata

Corrigendum 1: Para 4 of the Advt. (No.1/2016-17) is modified as given below:

“Selection Process: The candidates shortlisted for the posts of Security Guard may have to undergo process of selection which will be finalized by the Bank and advised to shortlisted candidates in due course. Accordingly, candidates found suitable will be placed on waitlist to be prepared subject to vacancy and reservation requirements. Mere fulfilling of eligibility criteria does not entitle a candidate to go through selection process to be prescribed by the Bank. The Bank reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards etc. in order to restrict the number of candidates to be called for undergoing selection process to be prescribed by the Bank commensurate with the number of vacancies. The decision of the Bank in this regard will be final.”

Corrigendum 2: Para 1 (b) i) of the Advt. (No.1/2016-17) is modified as given below:

SC/ST candidates by 5 years i.e. upto 30 years subject to production of certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the format as prescribed by the Government of India, at the selection process stage.

Corrigendum 3: Para 9 (first bullet) of the Advt. (No.1/2016-17) is modified as given below:

• No correspondence will be entered into with candidates not found eligible/not considered for going through the selection process.
