FIIs/RFPIs can now invest up to 74 per cent under PIS in M/s Shriram Transport Finance Co. Ltd
The Reserve Bank of India has today notified that Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs)/Registered Foreign Portfolios Investors (RFPIs) can now invest up to 74 per cent of the paid up capital of M/s Shriram Transport Finance Co. Ltd. under the Portfolio Investment Scheme (PIS). The Reserve Bank has further advised that the foreign shareholding by FIIs/RFPIs in M/s Shriram Transport Finance Co. Monitoring of Foreign Investment under PIS in Indian Companies- Incorporation in Ban List - FIIs/RFPIs : M/s Shiram Transport Finance Co. Ltd
The Reserve Bank of India has today notified that the foreign shareholding through Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs)/Registered Foreign Portfolios Investors (RFPIs) in M/s Shriram Transport Finance Co. Ltd. has crossed threshold ban limit of its paid-up capital. Therefore, no further purchase of shares of this company would be allowed through stock exchanges in India on behalf of FII/RFPIs.
