Corrigendum - Recruitment for the Post of Office Attendant in Reserve Bank of India - Panel Year 2025

Edit Window for Candidates to Modify/ Correct Application Form

Please refer to the advertisement dated January 15, 2026 on Recruitment for the Post of Office Attendant in Reserve Bank of India - Panel Year 2025 on the Bank’s website (www.rbi.org.in).

2. In this connection, with respect to Office wise Vacancies under Detailed Notice in the advertisement, the vacancies for Bhopal and Kanpur/Lucknow Offices have been revised.

3. The revised vacancies for Bhopal and Kanpur/ Lucknow Offices are as under:

Bhopal includes 12 vacancies for Raipur. Kanpur/ Lucknow includes 63 vacancies for Kanpur, 37 for Dehradun and 13 for Lucknow. Further, it may be noted that the vacancies for other recruiting offices remain unchanged.

4. Only those candidates who have already applied for vacancies under Bhopal Office and who now wish to change their category in view of vacancies now being notified for SC/EWS/EXS categories can update their category in their application form during the Edit Window facility. The edit window shall be open from 00:01 hours of February 10, 2026 to 23:59 hours of February 11, 2026 (Dates are tentative). Candidates who have applied for vacancies under Bhopal office and who do not wish to change their category need not take any action in this regard. Candidates who have applied/intend to apply for vacancies under any other recruiting office are not impacted by these instructions.

5. The last date for applying for the said recruitment remains unchanged and is February 04, 2026. Candidates are advised to carefully review the revised vacancies and exercise their option within the stipulated time.

Note: All other terms and conditions mentioned in the Advertisement dated January 15, 2026, remain unchanged. Corrigendum, if any, on this advertisement will be issued only on the Bank’s website (www.rbi.org.in).

Caution

It has come to the notice of Reserve Bank of India that some fraudsters falsely promising to offer job for the posts in the bank are sending Appointment letters through emails by using fake domains which do not belong to the Reserve Bank of India, but these could be deceptively similar involving use of words such as RBI, RESERVEBANK, etc.

It is hereby clarified that recruitments for various posts filled by the bank are advertised on our official website. Also, all details regarding recruitment e.g. Call letters, interview schedule, final result, etc., are published only on our official website https://opportunities.rbi.org.in. In view of this, the Reserve Bank of India cautions members of public to be aware of such fake Appointment letters issued by fraudsters promising job in the Bank. Any Advertisements/ Communication from other sources should be cross verified for authenticity from the website.
