RBI Releases Draft Guidelines on The Standardised Approach for Calculating Operational Risk Capital Charge
The Reserve Bank of India today released on its website, Draft Guidelines on The Standardised Approach for Calculating Operational Risk Capital Charge for comments and feedback. Comments/feedback on the draft guidelines may please be sent by February 28, 2010 by email to the CGM-in-Charge, Department of Banking Operations and Development, Reserve Bank of India, Central Office Building, 12th Floor, S.B. Singh Marg, Mumbai-400001. It may be recalled that vide our circular DBOD BP. BC. 23/21.06.001/2009-10 dated July 7, 2009 we had advised banks that they can inter alia apply for migrating to The Standardised Approach (TSA) and Alternative Standardised Approach (ASA) for Operational Risk from April 1, 2010 onwards.
