The Reserve Bank had constituted an Internal Working Group (IWG) to review the extant Liquidity Management Framework which has been in operation since February 2020.

2. The Group has submitted its report and the same is being placed on the RBI website today. Comments on the report are invited from stakeholders and members of the public by August 29, 2025, through email. The comments will be examined before a final view is taken by the Reserve Bank on the recommendations made by the IWG.
