In terms of GOI Notification F.No.4(7) - W&M/2016 dated August 29, 2016 (SGB 2016-17 Series II-Issue date September 30, 2016) on Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, premature redemption of Gold Bond may be permitted after fifth year from the date of issue of such Gold Bond on the date on which interest is payable.  Accordingly, the next due date of premature redemption of the above tranche shall be March 30, 2024.

In terms of GOI Notification F.No.4(16) - W&M/2016 dated February 23, 2017 (SGB 2016-17 Series IV-Issue date March 17, 2017) on Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, premature redemption of Gold Bond may be permitted after fifth year from the date of issue of such Gold Bond on the date on which interest is payable.  Accordingly, the next due date of premature redemption of the above tranche shall be March 16, 2024 (March 17, 2024 being Sunday).

In terms of Para 13 of the Consolidated Procedural Guidelines on the Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB) Scheme issued by the Reserve Bank of India vide circular IDMD.CDD.1100/14.04.050/2021-22 dated October 22, 2021, premature redemption of the gold bonds is permitted after five years from the date of issue of such bonds.

In terms of Government of India Notification F.No.4(6)-B(W&M)/2023 and Reserve Bank press release dated December 08, 2023, the Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme 2023-24 - Series IV will be open for subscription duringFebruary 12–16, 2024.

In terms of Government of India Notification F. No. 4(22) – B(W&M)/2018 dated October 08, 2018 (SGB 2018-19, Series VI - Issue date February 12, 2019) on Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, premature redemption of Gold Bond may be permitted after fifth year from the date of issue of such Gold Bond on the date on which interest is payable.  Accordingly, the next due date of premature redemption of the above tranche shall be February 12, 2024.

In terms of GOI Notification F.No.4(19) - W&M/2014 dated January 14, 2016 (SGB 2016-I - Issue date February 08, 2016) on Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, the Gold Bond shall be repayable on the expiration of eight years from the date of the issue of the Gold Bond.  Accordingly, the final redemption date of the above tranche shall be February 08, 2024.

In terms of GOI Notification F. No. 4(7) - W&M/2016 dated July 14, 2016 (SGB 2016-17, Series I - Issue date August 05, 2016) on Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, premature redemption of Gold Bond may be permitted after fifth year from the date of issue of such Gold Bond on the date on which interest is payable.  Accordingly, the next due date of premature redemption of the above tranche shall be February 05, 2024.

In terms of GOI Notifications F. No. 4(20) –W&M/2017 dated July 06, 2017 (SGB 2017-18, Series II - Issue date July 28, 2017) on Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, premature redemption of Gold Bond may be permitted after fifth year from the date of issue of such Gold Bond on the date on which interest is payable.  Accordingly, the next due date of premature redemption of the above tranche will be January 25, 2024 (January 26, 27 and 28 being holiday, non-working Saturday and Sunday respectively).

In terms of GOI Notifications F. No. 4(22) – B(W&M)/2018 dated October 08, 2018 (SGB 2018-19, Series V - Issue date January 22, 2019) on Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, premature redemption of Gold Bond may be permitted after fifth year from the date of issue of such Gold Bond on the date on which interest is payable.  Accordingly, the next due date of premature redemption of the above tranche will be January 20, 2024 (January 21 and 22 being Sunday and holiday respectively).

In terms of GOI Notifications F. No. 4(22) – B(W&M)/2018 dated October 08, 2018 (SGB 2018-19, Series IV - Issue date January 01, 2019) and F. No. 4(25) - W&M/2017 dated October 06, 2017 (SGB 2017-18, Series XIV - Issue date January 01, 2018) on Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, premature redemption of Gold Bond may be permitted after fifth year from the date of issue of such Gold Bond on the date on which interest is payable.  Accordingly, the next due date of premature redemption of the above two tranches shall be January 01, 2024.
