Banking Ombudsman Scheme 1995 - Highlights of its functioning so far
The Reserve Bank of India has published a report on review of the Banking Ombudsman Scheme 1995 for the period 1998-99 to 2001-02. According to this report, the number of complaints received during the periods 1999-2000, 2000-01 and 2001-02 stood at 4994, 5803 and 5907 respectively.
