1. Applications are invited from eligible candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes (ST) category and Unreserved (UR) category to fill up two (02) posts of Bank’s Medical Consultant (BMC) on contract basis, with fixed hourly remuneration for the dispensaries of Reserve Bank of India (hereinafter referred to as the Bank) located at Hoshangabad Road, Bhopal – 462 011 and Avantika RBI Staff Colony, Char Imli, Bhopal - 462 016. The applications should reach the Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Hoshangabad Road, P.B. No.32, Bhopal - 462 011 on or before 05:00 PM of February 10, 2026. Eligibility, Terms & Conditions: (i) Applicant should at a minimum, possess MBBS degree of any university recognized by the Medical Council of India in the allopathic system of medicine. (ii) Applicant having post graduate degree in General Medicine can also apply. (iii) The applicant should have a minimum of two (02) years’ experience of practicing medicine in any hospital or clinic as a medical practitioner. (iv) The applicant should have his/her dispensary or place of residence within a radius of 3-5 kms from the Reserve Bank of India office located at Hoshangabad Road, Bhopal – 462 011 and Avantika RBI Staff Colony, Char Imli, Bhopal - 462 016. (v) The remuneration of the Bank’s Medical Consultant on contract basis will be fixed throughout the period of contract with reference to the actual duty hours performed and will be all inclusive. (vi) Vacancies are reserved for Scheduled Tribes (ST) Category and Unreserved (UR) category. Interested candidates must ensure that they are entitled to such reservation and should also be in possession of all the requisite certificates in the prescribed format in support of their claim along with the application. (vii) The Contract for engagement will be for a period of three (03) years. There will not be any renewal of engagement on completion of the Contract. (viii) Candidates are advised to thoroughly read this advertisement and satisfy themselves about their eligibility before submitting the application. (ix) Applications not in the prescribed format or not accompanying copies of requisite documents / certificates will be summarily rejected. (x) The location, rate of remuneration and the duty hours (as envisaged now) is tabulated below:
(xi) The Bank reserves the right to review the rate of remuneration from time to time and alter the duty hours and location at its discretion, in case it becomes expedient to suit administrative and operative requirements. Accordingly, the selected candidate may have to attend, as altered, besides those mentioned above. The total number of hours may be increased to 30 hours (maximum) in a week in case of requirement of the Bank. (xii) The engagement is purely on contract basis. No superannuation benefits viz. Pension, Provident Fund or Gratuity will be payable for the engagement. No leave, perquisites/facilities would be admissible. If required to attend a dispensary on any public holiday/holiday, compensation @ Rs.1,000/- per hour shall be paid. (xiii) The ST candidates are required to submit Caste Certificate issued in the prescribed form by the Competent Authority. (xiv) Engagement of ST candidate on contract basis is provisional and is subject to verification of the caste certificate from the competent authority. If the verification reveals that the claim of belonging to ST category is false, the services of such candidate shall be terminated forthwith without assigning any further reason and the Bank reserves the right to take such legal action as it may deem fit. (xv) Interested and eligible candidates may make an Application in the prescribed format as at Annex - III. The application should be sent in a cover super scribed “Application for the post of Bank’s Medical Consultant on Contract Basis” 3. Selection Procedure: (i) The Reserve Bank of India, Bhopal will conduct an interview for selection of two Bank’s Medical Consultant (BMC) on contract basis, with fixed hourly remuneration. (ii) Selection will be made through interview and document verification of eligible candidates. The Bank reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards etc. in order to limit the number of candidates to be called for interview. The decision of the Bank in this regard will be final. The Bank will not entertain any correspondence with the applicants who have not been called for the interview. (iii) Applicants shortlisted after undergoing the document verification process and interview shall be subjected to medical examination as per prescribed norms, before being considered to be eligible to be engaged as Bank Medical Consultant (BMC) on contract basis. The cost of these medical examination process/ tests will have to be borne by the applicant. (iv) Candidates selected for the post will be appointed subject to their being found medically fit and acceptance of Terms and Conditions as per Annex - I and Code of Conduct as per Annex - II. (v) The selected candidate must sign an agreement for Contract with the Bank before engagement as Bank’s Medical Consultant on contract basis with fixed hourly remuneration. Annex - I Engagement of the services of Bank’s Medical Consultant (on contract basis) with fixed hourly remuneration - Terms and Conditions of the Contract A. Responsibilities/ Duties etc. 1. You shall attend the Bank’s dispensary with duty hours as mentioned in Para 2(x) of the advertisement (or for longer periods as decided by the Bank) excluding Bank holidays except days declared as holidays for purposes of half yearly closing and annual closing subject to the condition that the dispensary will not be kept closed for two successive days. The Bank may also use your services at Bank’s other dispensary at Bhopal during the working hours of that dispensary. 2. You will give advice free of charge, prescribe medicines and administer injections free of charge to the members of the staff including touring staff of the Bank, the members of their families including dependent parents and retired employee members / their spouses who are members of the Medical Assistance Fund Scheme, who present themselves during that time (the timings and / or duration may be changed as and when considered necessary by the Bank). You will be available for consultation at your private clinic in urgent cases in respect of employees of the Bank at any time with charges at the rate prescribed in the schedule. The Schedule of charges applicable to the Staff/Officers of the Bank would be made available on request. 3. You will provide the facilities referred to in paragraph (2) above to the relatives of the employees who have been permitted to reside with them in the Staff Quarters and facilitate recovery of charges from the employees for credit to the Bank’s account at the rates prescribed by the Bank from time to time. 4. You will be required to perform duties similar to those of a General Medical Practitioner irrespective of whatever post-graduate or other medical qualifications you may possess / acquire in future. It shall be your responsibility to ensure that the qualifications you hold or acquire in future do not restrict you in any manner from rendering the services required of a General Medical Practitioner and if as per any stipulations by the Indian Medical Association, the qualification you hold or acquire as the case may be, comes into conflict with the Bank`s requirements as indicated above, to work as a general practitioner, you will be required to ensure that no liability or responsibility on this account devolves on the Bank under any circumstance and shall indemnify and keep indemnified the Bank at all times against the same. Bank’s Medical Consultant’s liability will be that of an independent medical service provider and not that of an agent of the Bank. 5. Your duties at the RBI dispensary will include, apart from other requirements as mentioned above: i) Treatment of minor and major illness for which the employees and their dependents may call upon. ii) Treatment of emergency cases brought to the dispensary or in the departments or in the Bank’s premises or outside the Bank’s premises and reference to appropriate Hospitals whenever called upon to attend even when such necessity arises outside your normal working hours. iii) Administration of all types of injections – The responsibility for administering all types of injections rests with you for any untoward reaction. As a rule, administration of injections by the Pharmacists in your absence is to be discouraged. You will be required to train the Pharmacists to administer routine and simple type of injections when the work is heavy. iv) The important dressings and minor surgeries are to be handled only by you. If you are convinced that the Pharmacists, have the requisite competence routine dressings may be handled by them. 6. You will be required to visit any member of the Bank’s Staff staying in the Quarters whenever required to do so by the Bank and submit a report on their health. For such visits, you will be paid visit fees as per the schedule of rates fixed by the Bank. 7. You will be required to issue certificate in support of leave on medical grounds wherever necessary and countersign the certificates produced by the employees from other qualified medical practitioners, if you are satisfied about the genuineness of the case. 8. You will be required to attend Officers and members of their family at their residence when required by them and will be entitled to charge them a visit fee or consultation fee, as fixed by the Bank having regard to the local conditions. The visit fee / consultation fee, so fixed, will be inclusive of charges for administration of injections, etc. No other charges should be levied by you for such visits. 9. If and when required to do so, you will certify in such form as may be prescribed by the Bank from time to time as to the state of health and / or fitness for service of any employee or any prospective employee who may be selected for appointment at any Office of the Bank. 10. You will be required to issue order forms (prescribed) on the approved chemists of the Bank for supply of special / costly drugs or injections required for curative purpose to the Bank’s staff and forward copies thereof to the Bank for payment of the relative bills. 11. You will be required to use your good offices for securing hospital facilities in case the employees of the Bank or their families (for indoor hospitalization under Direct Settlement Facility) require such facilities in the hospital. 12. You will be required to inspect the Office premises once a month and report whether they are kept in a sanitary and hygienic condition. 13. You will be required to do prophylactic inoculations for typhoid, etc. and vaccination for small – pox whenever necessary. 14. You will be required to submit an annual report as on the 31st March or/and such other date as may be advised by the Bank, in the prescribed form on the general health of the staff. 15. You will be responsible for the proper storage of medicines and their distribution and to arrange the maintenance of all necessary records for the purpose. 16. You will also be required to advise on drug indents, and to counter-check the drug stock- balance and consumption, as and when required by the Bank. 17. You will be required to give professional opinion including reasonableness of the cost of treatment pertaining to the various items of medical claims as and when the same are referred to you. 18. You will be required to attend to any other work assigned by the Bank from time to time relating to administration of Bank’s Medical Facilities Scheme (BMFS) and Medical Assistance Fund (MAF) Scheme including dispensary facility as are generally performed / required to be performed by a General Medical Practitioner. 19. In the event of your absenting from duty, you shall be required to make substitute arrangements acceptable to the Bank viz. in terms of qualification and experience at your own risk and cost. 20. You shall observe the Code of Conduct for Bank’s Medical Consultant of the Bank which is attached in Annex-II herewith. B. Remuneration For the services rendered by you, the remuneration is fixed at ₹1000/- per hour for the three years of contractual service. The fixed remuneration is payable on a monthly basis. Further, Bank’s Medical Consultant will not be eligible for any superannuation benefits viz. Pension, Provident Fund or Gratuity. Bank’s Medical Consultant will also not be entitled to leave or any other perquisites/facilities. If required to attend to the Bank on any public holiday, compensation @ ₹1000/- per hour would be paid. Taxes on the income would be deduced at source. C. Other relevant Issues i) You will be under the administrative control of the Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Bhopal. ii) The engagement under the contract is temporary. No claim shall lie for regular employment on that basis at any stage or for pay and perks payable to regular employees. iii) The Bank reserves the right to review the rate of remuneration from time to time and alter the duty hours and location at its discretion in case it becomes expedient to suit administrative and operative requirements. iv) The contract will be terminable during the period of contract, on three months’ notice on either side or three months’ remuneration calculated @ ₹1000/- per hour per Bank working days in lieu thereof. However, in case of gross misconduct, Bank may terminate the contract with a notice period of 10 days. v) Any dispute arising on account of the contract shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Bhopal.Annex - II Code of Conduct for Bank’s Medical Consultant whose services are engaged on contract basis with fixed hourly remuneration 1. Every Bank’s Medical Consultant shall observe, comply with and obey all orders and directions which may from time to time be given to him / her by any person or persons under whose jurisdiction, superintendence or control he / she may for the time being be placed. 2. Every Bank’s Medical Consultant shall maintain the strictest secrecy regarding the Bank's affairs and the affairs of its constituents and shall not divulge, directly or indirectly, any information of a confidential nature either to a member of the public or of the Bank's Staff, unless compelled to do so by judicial or other authority, or unless instructed to do so by a superior officer in the discharge of his/her duties. 3. Every Bank’s Medical Consultant shall serve the Bank honestly and faithfully and shall use his / her utmost endeavors to promote the interests of the Bank, and shall show courtesy and attention in all transactions. 4. No Bank’s Medical Consultant shall take an active part in politics or in any political demonstration, or stand for election as member for a Municipal Council, District Board or any Legislative Body. 5. No Bank’s Medical Consultant shall become or continue to be a member or office-bearer of, or be otherwise directly or indirectly associated with, any trade union or a federation of such trade union or resort to, or in any way abet, any form of strike or participate in any violent, unseemly or indecent demonstration in connection with any matter pertaining to his / her terms and conditions of contract. 6. No Bank’s Medical Consultant shall contribute to the press anything relating to the affairs of the Reserve Bank of India without the prior sanction in writing from the Bank or publish any document, paper, or information which may come into his / her possession in his / her capacity as Bank’s Medical Consultant of the Bank. The Bank’s Bank’s Medical Consultant shall indemnify the Bank for any loss suffered by the Bank as a result of disclosure of any confidential information. 7. A Bank’s Medical Consultant shall not solicit or accept any gift from any employee. 8. A Bank’s Medical Consultant shall not absent from his / her duties without the permission from the Bank and without making alternate arrangement acceptable to the Bank during his / her absence. Such alternate arrangement shall not exceed five days at a time. 9. A Bank’s Medical Consultant shall not outsource his / her service to the Bank. 10. A Bank’s Medical Consultant will: i) strictly abide by any law relating to intoxicating drinks or drugs in force in any area in which he / she may, for the time being, happen to be; ii) not be under the influence of any intoxicating drink or drug while on duty and shall also take care that performance of his / her duties at any time is not affected in any way by the influence of such drink or drug; iii) refrain from consuming, in a public place, any intoxicating drink or drug; iv) not appear in a public place in a state of intoxication; v) not use any intoxicating drink or drug to excess. Explanation: The term "public place" would include clubs even exclusively meant for members where it is permissible for the members to invite non-members as guests, bars and restaurants, public conveyances and all other places to which the public have or are 11. No Bank’s Medical Consultant shall indulge in any act of sexual harassment of any woman employee at work place. Explanation: For this purpose, “Sexual Harassment” shall include such unwelcome sexually determined behavior, whether directly or by implication as: i) physical contact and advances, ii) demand or request for sexual favors, iii) sexually colored remarks, iv) showing pornography, v) Any other unwelcome physical, verbal or non-verbal conduct of a sexual nature 12. The contract is liable to be terminated if a Bank’s Medical Consultant is arrested for debt or on a criminal charge or is detained in pursuance of any process of law. 13. Bank’s Medical Consultant shall not give, solicit or receive nor shall offer to give solicit or receive, any gift, gratuity, commission or bonus in consideration of or return for the referring, recommending or procuring of any patient for medical, surgical or other treatment. He / She shall not directly or indirectly participate in or be a party to act of division, transference, assignment, subordination, rebating, splitting or refunding of any fee for medical, surgical or other treatment. 14. The provision at 13 above shall apply with equal force to the referring, recommending or procuring by him / her or any person, specimen or material for diagnostic purposes or other study / work. 15. The contract is liable to be terminated in case a Bank’s Medical Consultant commits a breach of the code of conduct of the Bank mentioned above or the terms and conditions of the contract accepted by him / her, displays negligence, inefficiency or indolence, or knowingly does anything detrimental to the interests of the Bank or in conflict with itsinstructions or is guilty of any other act of misconduct. |

Reserve Bank of India, Hyderabad invites Applications from eligible candidates to fill one post [Unreserved] as Bank’s Medical Consultant (BMC) on contract basis, with fixed hourly remuneration for the dispensaries of Reserve Bank of India, Hyderabad (the Bank) situated at RBI Staff Quarters, Begumpet, Hyderabad – 500 016. 2. The application in the prescribed format (Annex III) from the eligible interested candidates, along with the self-attested photocopies of certificates of professional / academic / other qualifications, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate etc., should reach the Regional Director, Human Resource Management Department, Reserve Bank of India, 6-1-56, Secretariat Road, Saifabad, Hyderabad-500 004, on or before 05:00 PM on February 13, 2026. The application in sealed cover should be superscribed as ‘Application for the post of Bank’s Medical Consultant (BMC) on Contract basis with fixed hourly remuneration’. 3. Eligibility Criteria: (i) The applicant should at a minimum, possess MBBS degree from any recognized university in the Allopathic system of medicine recognized by the Medical Council of India. The remuneration, duty hours and other terms & conditions: (i) During the period of contract, a remuneration of ₹1,000/- per hour will be paid. Out of the monthly remuneration so payable, a sum of ₹1,000/- per month will be treated as conveyance expenses. Further, reimbursement of Mobile charges at the rate of ₹1,000/- per month will be granted. No other facilities/perks will be payable to the BMC engaged on contract basis. (ii) The remuneration of Bank’s Medical Consultant on contract basis will be fixed throughout the period of the contract with reference to the actual duty hours performed and will be all inclusive. (iii) The engagement is purely on contract basis. No superannuation benefits viz. Pension, Provident Fund or Gratuity will be payable for the engagement. No leave, perquisites/facilities would be admissible. If required to attend a dispensary on any public holiday, compensation @ ₹1,000/- per hour shall be paid. (iv) The contract for engagement as Bank’s Medical Consultant will be for a period of three years. There will not be any renewal of engagement on completion of the contract period. However, eligible candidates can re-apply for the captioned post. (v) The duty hours of BMCs are as tabulated below:
(vi) The Reserve Bank of India reserves the right to review the rate of remuneration from time to time, alter the duty hours as well as the dispensary to be attached for the Bank’s Medical Consultant (BMC) at its discretion, in case it becomes expedient for administrative and operative requirements. If required to attend to the Dispensary on any public holiday, compensation @ ₹1000/- per hour shall be paid. Taxes on the income would be deducted at sources as per extant rates and Government notifications. 20. In the event of your absenting from duty, you shall be required to make substitute arrangements of doctor/s acceptable to the Bank viz., in terms of qualification and experience at your own risk and cost. 21. You will be under the administrative control of the Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Hyderabad – 500 004. 22. You will be required to adhere to the Code of Conduct of Bank’s Medical Consultant as given in Annex-II. 23. Your contract will be valid for a period of three years from the date of engagement subject to your accepting the above Terms and Conditions. 24. The engagement under the contract is temporary. No claim shall lie for regular employment on that basis at any stage or for pay and perks payable to regular employees. 25. The contract will be terminable during the period of the contract, on three months’ notice on either side or three months’ remuneration calculated on the basis of per month in lieu thereof. 26. Every Bank’s Medical Consultant shall maintain the strictest secrecy regarding the Bank's affairs and the affairs of its constituents and shall not divulge, directly or indirectly, any information of a confidential nature either to a member of the public or of the Bank's Staff, unless compelled to do so by judicial or other authority, or unless instructed to do so by a superior officer of the Bank in the discharge of his/her duties. No Bank’s Medical Consultant shall contribute to the press anything relating to the affairs of the Reserve Bank of India without the prior sanction in writing from the Bank or publish any document, paper, or information which may come into his/her possession in his/her capacity as Bank’s Medical Consultant. The Bank’s Medical Consultant shall indemnify the Bank for any loss suffered by the Bank as a result of disclosure of any confidential information. 3. Every Bank’s Medical Consultant shall serve the Bank honestly and faithfully and shall use his / her utmost endeavour to promote the interests of the Bank and shall show courtesy and attention in all transactions. 4. No Bank’s Medical Consultant shall take an active part in politics or in any political demonstration or stand for election as member for a Municipal Council, District Board or any Legislative Body. 5. No Bank’s Medical Consultant shall become or continue to be a member or office-bearer of, or be otherwise directly or indirectly associated with, any trade union or a federation of such trade union or resort to, or in any way abet, any form of strike or participate in any violent, unseemly or indecent demonstration in connection with any matter pertaining to his / her terms and conditions of contract. 6. A Bank’s Medical Consultant shall not solicit or accept any gift from any employee. 7. A Bank’s Medical Consultant shall not absent from his/her duties without the permission from the Bank and without making alternate arrangement acceptable to the Bank during his / her absence. He / She shall not directly or indirectly participate in or be a party to act of division, transference, assignment, subordination, rebating, splitting or refunding of any fee for medical, surgical or other treatment. 13. The provision at 12 above shall apply with equal force to the referring, recommending or procuring by him / her or any person, specimen or material for diagnostic purposes or other study / work. 14. Violation of the above guidelines or suppression of material facts shall entail the cancellation of candidature of PwBD candidate, in addition to any other action that the Bank may deem fit against the candidate and the Scribe. The candidate can be removed from service without notice if he/she has already joined the Bank. e) During the exam, at any stage, if it is found that scribe is independently answering the questions, the exam session for such candidate will be terminated, and candidate’s candidature will be cancelled. The candidature of such candidates using the services of a scribe will also be cancelled if it is reported after the examination by the test administrator personnel that the scribe independently answered the questions. viii. Use of Scribe & Compensatory time (persons having less than 40% disability): In addition to instructions applicable to PwBD candidates (who have disability of 40% or more), following rule will apply for persons with specified disabilities covered under the definition of Section 2(s) of the RPwD Act, 2016 but not covered under the definition of Section 2(r) of the said Act, i.e., persons having less than 40% disability and having difficulty in writing: a) The facility of scribe and/or compensatory time shall be granted solely to those having difficulty in writing subject to production of a certificate to the effect that person concerned has limitation to write and that scribe is essential to write examination on his/her behalf from the competent medical authority of a Government healthcare institution as per proforma at Annex I. b) The qualification of the scribe should be one step below the qualification of the candidate taking examination. The person opting for own scribe should submit details of the own scribe as per proforma at Annex II. c) These guidelines are subject to change in terms of GoI guidelines/ clarifications, if any, from time to time. III. Ex-Servicemen: i. Only those candidates shall be treated as Ex-Servicemen, who fulfill the definition as laid down in Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms Notification No.36034/5/85/Estt.(SCT) dated 27th October 1986, amendment vide notification No.36034/1/2006-Estt. (Res.), dated October 04, 2012, and further as amended from time to time. ii. Disabled Ex-Servicemen: Ex-Servicemen, who while serving in Armed Forces of the Union, and were disabled in operation against the enemy or in disturbed areas, shall be treated as Disabled Ex-Servicemen. iii. Dependents of Servicemen killed in Action: Servicemen killed in the following operations would be deemed to have been killed in action attributable to Military Service (a) war (b) warlike operations or border skirmishes either with Pakistan on ceasefire line or any other country (c) Fighting against armed hostiles in a counter insurgency environment viz. Candidates, who are released / retired from Armed Forces, or whose specified period of engagement (i.e., SPE) is likely to be completed on or before 01.02.2027 only are eligible to apply under this recruitment. They will also be required to submit the release letter along with a self-declaration at the time of joining the Bank that he/she is entitled to the benefits admissible to Ex-Servicemen in terms of Govt. of India rules. Those candidates, who have already completed their initial period of engagement and are on extended assignment, are required to submit certificates to that effect. If selected, all such candidates mentioned above, should get released and join the Bank on or before 01.02.2027. The relaxation in upper age and educational qualifications available to Ex-Servicemen/Disabled Ex-Servicemen will not be available to Dependents of Servicemen killed in action or severely disabled. vii. The following rules applicable to Ex-Servicemen re-employed under the Central Government would apply to Ex-Servicemen candidates appearing for the online examination (DoPT OM No. 36034/6/90-Estt. (SCT) dated April 02, 1992): Ex-Servicemen candidates who have already secured employment under the Central Government in Group ‘C’ & ‘D’ will be permitted the benefit of age relaxation as prescribed for Ex-Servicemen for securing another employment in a higher grade or cadre in Group ‘C’ / ‘D’ under Central Government. However, such candidates will not be eligible for the benefit of reservation on second occasion for Ex-Servicemen in Central Government jobs. 2. Eligibility Criteria: I. Nationality: a candidate must be either: i. a citizen of India, or ii. a subject of Nepal, or iii. a subject of Bhutan, or iv. a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or v. a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination, but the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate is issued to him/her by the Government of India. II. Age (as on 01/01/2026): Between 18 and 25 years. Candidates born not earlier than 02/01/2001 and not later than 01/01/2008 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply. Relaxation in the Upper Age Limit: Upper age limit will be relaxed as under:
NOTE: Cumulative Age Relaxation will not be available either under the above items or in combination with any other items. III. Educational Qualifications (as on 01/01/2026): i) A candidate should have passed 10th Standard (S.S.C./Matriculation) from the concerned State/UT coming under the Regional Jurisdiction of the Recruiting Office to which he/she is applying. Such qualification should be from a recognized Board of that State/UT. The regional jurisdiction of Recruiting Offices is given in Annex IV. ii) The candidate should be an undergraduate as on 01/01/2026. Graduates and candidates possessing higher qualification are not eligible to apply. iii) A candidate belonging to Ex-servicemen category should have passed 10th Standard (S.S.C./Matriculation) and rendered at least 15 years of defence service, provided they have not graduated outside the Armed Forces. iv) Candidates applying to a recruiting office should be proficient in the language (i.e., know to read, write, speak, and understand the language) of the State/UT falling under that office. 3. Scheme of Selection: Selection will be through Online Test and Language Proficiency Test (LPT). I. Online Test (Multiple Choice):
Language Proficiency Test (LPT): The candidates provisionally shortlisted from the online test will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). LPT will be of qualifying nature and will be conducted in the Official / Local Language/s of the State concerned as detailed in Annex V. Candidates not proficient in the Official / Local Language as per LPT shall be disqualified. Note: i. The above online test/s except the Test of General English Language will be available in English, Hindi and certain other Regional Languages. The list of regional languages for online test is given in Annex VI. ii. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Online Test. 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. iii. Candidates will have to qualify in each part of the online test separately. iv. Other detailed information regarding the examination will be given in an Information Handout, which will be made available for the candidates to download along with the Call Letter for examination from the Bank’s website. v. Roll numbers of those candidates who have qualified for LPT on the basis of Online test will be displayed on the Bank’s website. vi. If the examination is held in more than one session, the scores across various sessions will be equated following IBPS’ standard practice to adjust for slight differences in difficulty level of different test batteries used across sessions. The ‘corrected-scores’ obtained by each of the candidate in different sessions (if held) will be normalized using equi percentile method. vii. Only such number of candidates will be called for LPT who stand sufficiently high in merit on the aggregate marks of the Online Test; such merit being decided by the Bank in relation to the number of vacancies to be filled in. viii. LPT is mandatory. No exemption of any sort will be given to any candidate from appearing in LPT, which will be conducted at respective Regional Offices of the Bank. Final selection will be on the basis of candidate's performance in the online examination (in the order of merit), qualifying in LPT, Medical fitness, verification of certificates, etc. to the Bank’s satisfaction. Decision of the Bank in this regard, shall be final. ix. Appointment of selected candidate will be subject to his/her being declared medically fit as per the rules of the Bank. x. Identity Verification- Biometric Data Capturing or by other mode. The Bank reserves its right to conduct biometric verification/ other mode of verification any time during / post the recruitment process. Biometric thumb impression/ lRlS and photographs of the candidates will be captured at the time of Online Exam and verified at the time of LPT and Joining. In case, if any candidate is found not to be genuine, then, apart from taking legal action against him/her, his/her candidature shall be cancelled. Accordingly, at various stages, photograph / thumb impression / IRIS Scan of the candidates will be captured in digital format for verification/ biometric verification of the candidates. Candidates will ensure that their correct photograph/ thumb impression/ IRIS Scan is captured at various stages, as any inconsistency will lead to rejection of their candidature. Candidates are advised to follow the guidelines that shall be provided to them in their call letter. Further, the candidate has to take proper precaution while submitting biometric verification. If the thumb (for impression) / IRIS (for Scan) to be captured is injured/damaged, the candidate shall immediately notify the concerned authority at the test centre. In such a situation, upon declaration being made by the candidate, the authorities would make some alternate provisions, impression of other fingers, toes, etc., of the candidate may be captured for biometric data verification. The Bank will not entertain any complaint/correspondence at subsequent stage of the selection process in the event of biometric data not matching with the original biometric data taken at the online test centre. Decision of the Biometric data verification authority as regards its status (i.e., matching or not-matching) shall be final and binding upon the candidates. 4. Examination Centres: i. The examination will be conducted online in venues across many centres in India. The tentative list of Examination centres is available in Annex VII. ii. The Bank, however, reserves the right to cancel any of the Examination Centres and/ or add some other Centres, depending upon the response, administrative feasibility, etc. iii. The candidate/s have to select the exam centre corresponding to the office he/she has applied for. However, the Bank also reserves the right to allot the candidate to any centre other than the one he/she has opted for and a candidate may be allocated a centre of exam outside the State/UT for which vacancies he/she is applying. iv. Candidate will appear for the Online Test at an Examination Centre at his/ her own risk and expenses, and the Bank will not be responsible for any injury or losses, etc., of any nature. v. No request for change of centre for Online Test shall be entertained. Note: If sufficient number of candidates does not opt for a particular centre for "Online" examination, the Bank reserves the right to allot any other adjunct centre to those candidates OR if the number of candidates is more than the capacity available for online exam for a centre, the Bank reserves the right to allot any other centre to the candidate. 5. Service Conditions / Career Prospects: i. Pay Scale: Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of ₹24,250/- per month in the scale of ₹24250 – 840 (4) – 27610 – 980 (3) – 30550 – 1200 (3) – 34150 -1620 (2) - 37390 – 1990 (4) - 45350 – 2700(2) - 50750 – 2800 (1) – 53550 and other allowances, as admissible from time to time. At present, initial Monthly Gross Emoluments (without HRA) for Office Attendants will be approximately ₹46,029/- per month. **House Rent Allowance of 15% of Pay will be paid to them, additionally, if they are not staying in Bank’s accommodation. ii. Perquisites: Bank’s accommodation subject to availability, medical facilities, reimbursement of education expenses, reimbursement of cost of spectacles and lens, knowledge updation allowance, furnishing of residence, Group Term Life Insurance (GTLI), vehicle insurance, conveyance allowance, Leave Fare Concession, etc., as per eligibility. The recruits will be governed by the Defined Contribution New Pension Scheme, in addition to the benefit of Gratuity. Nature of Work The post of Office Attendant is a Class lV post and its duties shall generally include physical movement and dispensation of files, records, office articles, utility items, etc., delivery of dak, opening and closing of sections/ divisions/departments, photocopying, assisting in other non-clerical and routine works and any other work as assigned by the seniors of the Bank, as per requirement. 6. Pre-Examination Training: Guidelines for Pre-examination Training for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates: The Bank may arrange combined pre-examination online training for a limited number of SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates in consonance with the guidelines issued by Government of India. Candidates belonging to the above categories, who desire to avail themselves of such training may write through email to the Regional Office, of the Reserve Bank of India, to which the candidate is applying, latest by February 04, 2026. The reporting time mentioned on the call letter is prior to the Start time of the test. Though the duration of the examination is 90 minutes, candidates may be required to be at the venue for about 3-4 hours (approximately) including the time required for completion of various formalities such as verification and collection of various requisite documents, logging in, giving of instructions, etc. h) In order to facilitate verification of identity at various stages of the recruitment process, candidates are advised to possess/acquire valid document Identity Documents for the recruitment process. Accordingly, the candidates may be asked to enter the details of the identity proof/s if required in the application form. i) Documents relating to Age/Qualification/Category, etc., will have to be submitted to the Bank at the time of Language Proficiency Test/document verification. They should also be in possession of all the requisite certificates in the prescribed format in support of their claim as stipulated for such benefits. These certificates should be dated on or before the closing date of applications for the posts. Candidates seeking age relaxation are required to submit copies of necessary certificate(s) at the time of LPT/document verification. k) All candidates working in Government Sector, Government owned industrial undertakings, Public Sector Undertakings/Financial Institutions/Banks, Public Enterprises or other similar organizations, whether in a permanent or temporary capacity or as work-charged employees other than casual or daily rated employees, are required to inform their employer (Head of Office/Department) in writing, about applying for this recruitment, prior to the submission of their application online to the Bank. At the time of applying online, candidates working in such organizations, are required to submit an undertaking that they have informed in writing about applying for this recruitment to their Head of Office/Department. Candidates should note that in case a communication is received at Bank from their employer, withholding permission to the candidate applying for this recruitment/ appearing at the examination, their application/candidature will be liable to be rejected/ cancelled. l) At the time of joining, the recommended candidates will have to bring proper discharge certificates from their PSU/Government/Quasi-Government employer. m) In the test hall as well as at the time of LPT, the call letter along with original and a photocopy of the candidate’s currently valid photo identity (bearing exactly the same name as it appears on the call letter) such as PAN Card/ Passport/ Permanent Driving Licence/ Voter’s Card/ Bank Passbook with photograph/ Photo identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer on official letterhead along with photograph / Photo identity proof issued by a People’s Representative on official letterhead along with photograph / valid recent Identity Card issued by a recognized College/ University/ Aadhar card/ E-Aadhar Card with a photograph/ Employee ID/ Bar Council Identity Card with photograph should be submitted to the invigilator for verification. The candidate’s identity will be verified with respect to his/her details on the call letter, in the Attendance List and requisite documents submitted. If identity of the candidate is in doubt the candidate may not be allowed to appear for the Examination (Online Test & LPT). n) Ration card & Learners Driving License will not be considered as valid Identity proof. o) Candidates have to produce in original, the photo identity proof, and submit photocopy of the photo identity proof along with Examination call letter as well as the LPT Call Letter while attending the examination/ LPT, respectively, without which they will not be allowed to take up the examination/ LPT. Candidates must note that the name as appearing on the call letter (provided during the process of registration) should exactly match the name as appearing on the photo identity proof. Female candidates who have changed first/last/middle name post marriage must take special note of this. If there is any mismatch between the name indicated in the Call Letter and Photo Identity Proof the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the Online Test. In case of candidates who have changed their name, they will be allowed only if they produce original Gazette notification / their original marriage certificate / affidavit in original. p) Candidates are advised, in their own interest, that they should not furnish any particulars that are false, tampered with or fabricated, and should not suppress any material information while submitting online application. q) At the time of Online Test / LPT or in a subsequent selection procedure, if a candidate is (or has been) found guilty of – i. using unfair means or ii. impersonating or procuring impersonation by any person or iii. misbehaving in the Online Test / LPT hall or disclosing, publishing, reproducing, transmitting, storing or facilitating transmission and storage of contents of the test(s) or any information therein, in whole or part thereof in any form, or by any means, verbal or written, electronically or mechanically for any purpose or iv. resorting to any irregular or improper means in connection with his/ her candidature or v. obtaining support for his/ her candidature by unfair means, or vi. carrying mobile phones or similar electronic devices of communication in the Online Test / LPT hall, such a candidate may, in addition to rendering himself/ herself liable to criminal prosecution, be liable:
r) The Bank would be analyzing the responses (answers) of individual candidates with those of other candidates to detect patterns of similarity of right and wrong answers. If in the analytical procedure adopted in this regard, it is inferred/ concluded that the responses have been shared and scores obtained are not genuine/ valid, the Bank reserves right to cancel the candidature of the concerned candidates and the result of such candidates (disqualified) will be withheld. s) Canvassing in any form shall be a disqualification. t) In all correspondence with the Bank, Registration number received on submission of application and Roll number indicated in ‘Call Letter’ must be quoted. u) In all matters regarding eligibility, conduct of examinations, LPT assessment, prescribing minimum qualifying standards in online test & LPT, in relation to number of vacancies and communication of result, the Bank’s decision shall be final and binding on the candidates and no correspondence shall be entertained in this regard. v) The possibility for occurrences of some problem in administration of the examination cannot be ruled out completely which may impact test delivery and/or result from being generated. In that event, every effort will be made to rectify such problem, which may include movement of candidates, delay in test, etc. Conduct of a re-exam is at the absolute discretion of test conducting body. Candidates will not have any claim for a re-test. Candidates not willing to move or not willing to participate in the delayed process of test delivery shall be summarily rejected from the process. w) If the Online Test is held in more than one session, the scores across various sessions will be equated following IBPS’ standard practice to adjust for slight differences in difficulty level of different test batteries used across sessions. The ‘corrected-scores’ obtained by each of the candidates in different sessions (if held) will be normalized using equipercentile method. More than one session may be required if the nodes capacity is less, or some technical disruption takes place at any centre or for any candidate. x) Mobile phones, pagers or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the premises, where the examination is being conducted. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disqualification including ban from future examinations. y) Candidates are not permitted to use or be in possession of calculators in examination premises. z) Candidates are advised, in their own interest, not to bring any of the banned item including mobile phones/ pagers to the venue of the examination, as arrangement for safekeeping cannot be assured. aa) The Bank will not furnish the mark-sheet to candidates. However, the Online Test marks may be available on the Bank’s website after the declaration of the final result. bb) The post is also open to the employees of the Bank (staff candidates) who satisfy the eligibility criteria. cc) Any legal proceedings in respect of any matter of claim or dispute arising out of this advertisement and / or an application in response thereto can be instituted only in Mumbai and courts/ tribunals/ forums at Mumbai only shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction to try any cause / dispute. dd) Candidate’s admission to the Online Test / LPT is strictly provisional. The mere fact that the call letter has been issued to the candidate does not imply that his candidature has been finally cleared by the Bank. ee) In case it is detected at any stage of recruitment that a candidate does not fulfil the eligibility norms and / or that he / she has furnished any incorrect / false information or has suppressed any material fact(s), his /her candidature will stand cancelled. If any of these shortcomings is / are detected even after appointment, his /her services are liable to be terminated. In case the face in the photograph or signature or left thumb impression or the hand-written declaration is unclear / smudged the candidate’s application may be rejected. II. After uploading the Photograph / signature / left thumb impression / handwritten declaration in the online application form, candidates should check that the images are clear and have been uploaded correctly. In case the photograph or signature or left thumb impression or the handwritten declaration is not prominently visible, the candidate may edit his/ her application and re-upload his/ her photograph or signature, prior to submitting the form. Only those candidates will be allowed to make corrections in the application form, who have successfully submitted their completed online application form along with payment of requisite fees/intimation charges within the specified period of application registration. II. A candidate will be allowed to correct and re-submit the modified/ corrected application only once during the ‘Edit Window to Modify/ Correct Application Form’ i.e. no further update to the application will be allowed in case a candidate makes a mistake in the updated application. Engagement of the services of Bank's Medical Consultant (on contractual basis) with fixed hourly remuneration - Terms and Conditions of Contract 1. You shall attend to Bank’s dispensary located at IT Park, Plot No. 16-17, Sahastradhara Road, Dehradun – 248013 for duty hours as prescribed above (or for longer periods as may be necessary) excluding Bank holidays except days declared as holidays for purposes of half yearly closing and annual closing subject to the condition that the dispensary will not be kept closed for two successive days. 2. You shall give advice free of charge, prescribe medicines and administer injections free of charge to the members of the staff including touring staff of the Bank, the members of their families including dependent parents and retired employee members/their spouses who are members of the Medical Assistance Fund Scheme, who present themselves during that time (the timings and/or duration may be changed as and when considered necessary by the Bank). You will be available for consultation at your private clinic in urgent cases in respect of employees of the Bank at any time with charges at the rate prescribed in the schedule. The Schedule of charges applicable to the Staff/Officers of the Bank would be made available on request. 3. You shall provide the facilities referred to in paragraph (2) above to the relatives of the employees who have been permitted to reside with them in Quarters and facilitate recovery of charges from the employees for credit to the Bank's account at the rates prescribed by the Bank from time to time. 4. You shall be required to perform duties similar to those of a General Medical Practitioner irrespective of whatever post-graduate or other medical qualifications you may possess / acquire in future. It shall be your responsibility to ensure that the qualifications you hold or acquire in future do not restrict you in any manner from rendering the services required of a General Medical Practitioner and if as per any stipulations by the Indian Medical Association, the qualification you hold or acquire as the case may be comes into conflict with the Bank's requirements as indicated above, to work as a general practitioner, you will be required to ensure that no liability or responsibility on this account devolves on the Bank under any circumstances and shall indemnify and keep indemnified the Bank at all times against the same. 5. Your duties at the RBI dispensary will include, apart from other requirements as mentioned above:
6. You shall visit any member of the Bank's Staff staying in the Quarters whenever required to do so by the Bank and submit a report on their health. For such visits, you will be paid visit fees as per the schedule of rates fixed by the Bank. 7. You shall issue certificate in support of leave on medical grounds wherever necessary and countersign the certificates produced by the employees from other qualified medical practitioners if you are satisfied about the genuineness of the case. 8. You shall attend the employees and members of their family at their residence when required by them and will be entitled to charge them a visit fee or consultation fee, as fixed by the Bank having regard to the local conditions. The visit fee/consultation fee, so fixed, will be inclusive of charges for administration of injections, etc. No other charges should be levied by you for such visits. 9. If and when required to do so, you will certify in such form as may be prescribed by the Bank from time to time as to the state of health and / or fitness for service of any employee or any prospective employee who may be selected for appointment at any Office of the Bank. 10. You shall issue order forms (prescribed) on the approved chemists of the Bank for supply of special/costly drugs or injections required for curative purpose to the Bank's staff and forward copies thereof to the Bank for payment of the relative bills. 11. You shall facilitate in securing hospital facilities in case the employees of the Bank or their dependents (for indoor hospitalization under Direct Settlement facility) require such facilities in the hospital. 12. You shall inspect the Office/ Residential premises once a month or any such periodicity as decided by the Bank and report whether they are kept in a sanitary and hygienic condition. 13. You shall do prophylactic inoculations for typhoid, etc. and vaccination for small-pox, whenever necessary. 14. You shall submit an annual report as on the 31st March in the prescribed form on the general health of the staff. 15. You shall be responsible for proper storage of all necessary records for the purpose. 16. You shall advise on drug indents, and to counter-check the drug stock-balance and consumption. 17. You shall give professional opinion including reasonableness of the cost of treatment pertaining to the various items of medical claims as and when the same are referred to you. 18. You shall attend to any other work assigned by the Bank from time to time relating to administration of Bank's Medical Facilities Scheme and Medical Assistance Fund Scheme including dispensary facility as are generally performed / required to be performed by a General Medical Practitioner. 19. The remuneration is fixed at ₹1,000/- per hour for the entire period of contract i.e., 3 years. The fixed remuneration is payable on a monthly basis. Out of the total monthly remuneration so payable, a sum of ₹1,000/- per month will be treated as conveyance expenses. Further, no superannuation benefits viz. Pension, Provident Fund or Gratuity will be payable. No leave would be admissible. No perquisites/facilities also would be made available. If required to attend to the Dispensary on any public holiday compensation @ ₹1,000/- per hour would be paid. Further, reimbursement of Mobile charges at the rate of ₹1000/- per month will be granted. Taxes on the income would be deducted at source as per extant rates and Government notifications. 20. The Bank reserves the right to review the rate of remuneration from time to time and alter the duty hours and location of dispensary at its discretion in case it becomes expedient to suit administrative and operative requirements. 21. In the event of your absenting from duty, you shall be required to make substitute arrangements acceptable to the Bank viz. in terms of qualification and experience at your own risk and cost. 22. You shall adhere to the code of conduct of Bank’s Medical Consultant as given in the Annex - II. 23. You will be under the administrative control of the Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Dehradun. 24. The engagement under the contract is temporary. No claim shall lie for regular employment on that basis at any stage or for pay and perks payable to regular employees of the Bank. 25. The contract will be terminable during the period of the contract, upon three months’ notice on either side or three months remuneration in lieu thereof. 26. Your contract will be valid for a period of three years from the date of engagement subject to your accepting the above terms and conditions and observing the code of conduct of the Bank as given in Annex - II. The contract will be reviewed every year. 27. Any dispute arising on account of the contract shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Dehradun. Code of Conduct for Bank’s Medical Consultants (BMC) whose services are engaged on contract on hourly basis with fixed remuneration. 1. Every Bank’s Medical Consultant shall observe, comply with and obey all orders and directions which may from time to time be given to him by any person or persons under whose jurisdiction, superintendence or control he may for the time being be placed. 2. You shall comply with the IS (Information Security) policy of the Bank. 3. Every Bank’s Medical Consultant shall maintain the strictest secrecy regarding the Bank's affairs and the affairs of its constituents and shall not divulge, directly or indirectly, any information of a confidential nature either to a member of the public or of the Bank's Staff, unless compelled to do so by judicial or other authority, or unless instructed to do so by a superior officer in the discharge of his/her duties. 4. Every Bank’s Medical Consultant shall serve the Bank honestly and faithfully and shall use his/her utmost endeavours to promote the interests of the Bank and shall show courtesy and attention in all transactions. 5. No Bank’s Medical Consultant shall take an active part in politics or in any political demonstration or stand for election as member for a Municipal Council, District Board or any Legislative Body. 6. No Bank’s Medical Consultant shall become or continue to be a member or office-bearer of, or be otherwise directly or indirectly associated with, any trade union or a federation of such trade union or resort to, or in any way abet, any form of strike or participate in any violent, unseemly or indecent demonstration in connection with any matter pertaining to his/her terms and conditions of contract. 7. No Bank’s Medical Consultant shall contribute to the press anything relating to the affairs of the Reserve Bank of India without the prior sanction in writing from the Bank or publish any document, paper, or information which may come into his/her possession in his/her capacity as Bank’s Medical Consultant of the Bank. The Bank’s Medical Consultant shall indemnify the Bank for any loss suffered by the Bank as a result of disclosure of any confidential information. 8. A Bank’s Medical Consultant shall not solicit or accept any gift from any employee. 9. A Bank’s Medical Consultant shall not absent from his/her duties without the permission from the Bank and without making alternate arrangement acceptable to the Bank during his/her absence. Such alternate arrangement shall not exceed five days at a time. 10. A Bank’s Medical Consultant shall not outsource his/her service to the Bank. 11. A Bank’s Medical Consultant will -

13. The contract is liable to be terminated if a Medical Consultant is arrested for debt or on a criminal charge or is detained in pursuance of any process of law. 14. Bank’s Medical Consultant shall not give, solicit or receive nor shall offer to give solicit or receive, any gift, gratuity, commission or bonus in consideration of or return for the referring, recommending or procuring of any patient for medical, surgical or other treatment. He/ She shall not directly or indirectly, participate in or be a party to act of division, transference, assignment, subordination, rebating, splitting or refunding of any fee for medical, surgical or other treatment. 15. The provision at 14 above shall apply with equal force to the referring, recommending or procuring by him or any person, specimen or material for diagnostic purposes or other study/ work. 16. Reserve Bank of India, Hyderabad invites Applications from eligible candidates to fill two posts [One from Other Backward Class (OBC) and other from Economically Weaker Section (EWS)] as Bank’s Medical Consultant (BMC) on contract basis, with fixed hourly remuneration for the dispensaries of Reserve Bank of India, Hyderabad (the Bank) situated at 6-1-56, AG Office Road, Saifabad, Khairtabad, Hyderabad, Telangana 500 004 and RBI Staff Quarters, Begumpet, Hyderabad – 500 016. 2. The remuneration, duty hours and other terms & conditions: (i) During the period of contract, a remuneration of ₹1,000/- per hour will be paid. Out of the monthly remuneration so payable, a sum of ₹1,000/- per month will be treated as conveyance expenses. Further, reimbursement of Mobile charges at the rate of ₹1,000/- per month will be granted. No other facilities/perks will be payable to the BMC engaged on contract basis. (ii) The remuneration of Bank’s Medical Consultant on contract basis will be fixed throughout the period of the contract with reference to the actual duty hours performed and will be all inclusive. (iii) The engagement is purely on contract basis. No superannuation benefits viz. Pension, Provident Fund or Gratuity will be payable for the engagement. No leave, perquisites/facilities would be admissible. If required to attend a dispensary on any public holiday, compensation @ ₹1,000/- per hour shall be paid. (iv) The contract for engagement as Bank’s Medical Consultant will be for a period of three years. There will not be any renewal of engagement on completion of the contract period. However, eligible candidates can re-apply for the captioned post. (v) The duty hours of BMCs are as tabulated below:
(vi) The Reserve Bank of India reserves the right to review the rate of remuneration from time to time, alter the duty hours as well as the dispensary to be attached for the Bank’s Medical Consultant (BMC) at its discretion, in case it becomes expedient for administrative and operative requirements. Accordingly, the selected candidate/s may have to attend to dispensaries of the Bank as advised by Bank from time to time. The total number of hours may be increased up to 30 hours (maximum) in a week as per the requirement. 5. Selection Procedure (i) The Bank will be conducting interview and document verification for the shortlisted candidates. The Bank reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards etc., in order to limit the number of candidates to be called for interview. The decision of the Bank in this regard will be final. Mere fulfilling of the eligibility criteria does not entitle the candidate to be called for Interview. The remuneration is fixed at ₹1000/- per hour for the entire period of contract i.e. 3 years. The fixed remuneration is payable on a monthly basis. In the event of your absenting from duty, you shall be required to make substitute arrangements of doctor/s acceptable to the Bank viz., in terms of qualification and experience at your own risk and cost. 21. You will be required to adhere to the Code of Conduct of Bank’s Medical Consultant as given in Annex-II. 23. Your contract will be valid for a period of three years from the date of engagement subject to your accepting the above Terms and Conditions. 24. The engagement under the contract is temporary. No claim shall lie for regular employment on that basis at any stage or for pay and perks payable to regular employees. 25. The contract will be terminable during the period of the contract, on three months’ notice on either side or three months’ remuneration calculated on the basis of per month in lieu thereof. 26. The Bank reserves the right to review the rate of remuneration from time to time and alter the duty hours and the duty dispensary at its discretion in case it becomes expedient for administrative and operative requirements. 27. Any dispute arising on account of the contract shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Hyderabad. Every Bank’s Medical Consultant shall observe, comply with and obey all orders and directions which may from time to time be given to him / her by any person or persons under whose jurisdiction, superintendence or control he / she may for the time being be placed. 2. Every Bank’s Medical Consultant shall maintain the strictest secrecy regarding the Bank's affairs and the affairs of its constituents and shall not divulge, directly or indirectly, any information of a confidential nature either to a member of the public or of the Bank's Staff, unless compelled to do so by judicial or other authority, or unless instructed to do so by a superior officer of the Bank in the discharge of his/her duties. No Bank’s Medical Consultant shall contribute to the press anything relating to the affairs of the Reserve Bank of India without the prior sanction in writing from the Bank or publish any document, paper, or information which may come into his/her possession in his/her capacity as Bank’s Medical Consultant. The Bank’s Medical Consultant shall indemnify the Bank for any loss suffered by the Bank as a result of disclosure of any confidential information. 3. Every Bank’s Medical Consultant shall serve the Bank honestly and faithfully and shall use his / her utmost endeavour to promote the interests of the Bank and shall show courtesy and attention in all transactions. 4. No Bank’s Medical Consultant shall take an active part in politics or in any political demonstration or stand for election as member for a Municipal Council, District Board or any Legislative Body. 5. No Bank’s Medical Consultant shall become or continue to be a member or office-bearer of, or be otherwise directly or indirectly associated with, any trade union or a federation of such trade union or resort to, or in any way abet, any form of strike or participate in any violent, unseemly or indecent demonstration in connection with any matter pertaining to his / her terms and conditions of contract. 6. A Bank’s Medical Consultant shall not solicit or accept any gift from any employee. 7. A Bank’s Medical Consultant shall not absent from his/her duties without the permission from the Bank and without making alternate arrangement acceptable to the Bank during his / her absence. Such alternate arrangement shall not exceed five days at a time. 8. A Bank’s Medical Consultant shall not outsource his / her service to the Bank. 9. A Bank’s Medical Consultant will:

The provision at 12 above shall apply with equal force to the referring, recommending or procuring by him / her or any person, specimen or material for diagnostic purposes or other study / work. 14. Applicant should have his/her dispensary or place of residence within a radius of 10-15 kms from the Bank’s dispensaries at the aforementioned locations. 4. Remuneration, duty hours and other conditions: i. During the period of contract, a remuneration of ₹1,000/- per hour will be paid. Out of the monthly remuneration so payable, a sum of ₹1,000/- per month will be treated as conveyance expenses and ₹1000/- per month will be paid as the reimbursement of mobile charges. No other facilities/perks will be payable to the Medical Consultant engaged on contract basis. ii. The engagement is purely on contract basis. No superannuation benefits viz. Pension, Provident Fund or Gratuity will be payable for the engagement. No leave, perquisites/facilities would be admissible. If required to attend a dispensary on any public holiday, compensation @ ₹1,000/- per hour shall be paid. iii. Remuneration will be paid as per the actual duty hours performed and will be all inclusive. iv.RBI reserves the right to review the rate of remuneration from time to time, change the duty hours & days as well as the dispensary attached to a Medical Consultant at its discretion, in case it becomes expedient for administrative and operational requirements. Due to change of the dispensary, the number of working hours of the Medical Consultant may change accordingly. v. Number of hours of engagement of a Medical Consultant can be increased up to 30 hours per week as per the requirement of the Bank. However, the total hours of engagement of a Medical Consultant in all dispensaries put together shall not exceed 30 hours per week. vi. The doctors selected as Medical Consultant would be also required to submit a “No Objection Certificate (NOC)”, in case she/ he is engaged in any hospital/ organization for more than 30 hours a week. vii. The doctors selected as Medical Consultant would be required to submit a “Self-Declaration” stating that none of her/ his current employer (s) have any objection to her/ his engagement with the Bank. Contract for engagement will be for a period of three years. There will not be any renewal of engagement on completion of the contract period. 5. Modalities for selection: i. The Bank will be conducting document verification and interview for the eligible candidates. The Bank reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility criteria in order to limit the number of candidates to be called for interview. The decision of the Bank in this regard will be final. Apart from those who may be called for interview, the Bank will not entertain any correspondence with the applicants who are not found eligible / not considered eligible for interviews. ii. Applicants shortlisted after undergoing the document verification process and interview shall be subjected to medical examination as per prescribed norms before being considered to be eligible to be engaged as Medical Consultant (MC) on contract basis. The cost of these medical examination process/ tests will have to be borne by the applicant/s themselves. iii. A candidate selected for the post shall be engaged subject to his/her being found medically fit and on acceptance of Terms and Conditions of Contract given in Annex–II and the Code of Conduct given in Annex–III. iv. The selected candidate has to sign an agreement with the Bank before being engaged in their service as Bank’s Medical Consultant (on contract basis) with fixed hourly remuneration. Engagement of the services of Medical Consultant (on contract basis) with fixed hourly remuneration - Terms and Conditions of Contract 1. To attend to Banks’ dispensaries at MOPD or Any of the Bank’s Residential Colonies at Alipore / Singhi Park Colony / Salt Lake / Ultadanga / Dum Dum, as per the prescribed duty hours (or for longer periods as may be necessary) excluding Bank holidays except days declared as holidays for purposes of half yearly closing and annual closing subject to the condition that the dispensary will not be kept closed for two successive days. The Bank reserves the right to shift the place of engagement of Medical Consultant among the dispensaries as per its requirements. Further, the Bank may use the services of the Medical Consultant at its other dispensaries located at Residential Colonies/ Main Office Premises in case of any need. 2. To give advice, prescribe medicines and administer injections free of charge to RBI Staff members in Kolkata, including that of other officers on tour or visit to Kolkata, their family members, including dependent parents and also to the retired employee members/their spouses who are members of the Medical Assistance Fund Scheme (MAFS) [referred to as visitors], who visit the dispensary. In case of urgency, the Medical Consultant shall be available for consultation at his/her private clinic, any time and charge as per Bank’s Schedule of charges. This Schedule of Charges which is applicable to the Staff/Officers of the Bank would be made available to the Medical Consultant on request. 3. To provide the facilities referred to in paragraph (2) above to the relatives of employees who have been permitted to reside with them in the Staff/Officers Quarters and facilitate recovery of charges (as per Bank’s prescribed rate) from the employees for credit to the Bank's account from time to time. 4. To perform duties similar to those of a General Medical Practitioner irrespective of whatever post-graduate or other medical qualifications the Medical Consultant may possess / acquire in future. It shall be the Medical Consultant’s responsibility to ensure that the qualifications he/she holds or acquires in future do not restrict him/her in any manner from rendering the services required of a General Medical Practitioner. However, if as per any stipulation of the Indian Medical Association, the qualification he/she holds or acquires as the case may be, comes into a conflict with Bank's requirement to work as a General Practitioner, he/she shall be required to ensure that no liability or responsibility on this account devolves on the Bank under any circumstances and shall indemnify and keep indemnified the Bank at all times against the same. 5. The duties at the Bank’s dispensary will also include the following, apart from the other requirements as mentioned above: (i) Treatment of minor and major illness for which the employees and their dependents may call upon the Medical Consultant. (ii)Treatment of emergency cases brought to the dispensary or in the departments or in the Bank’s premises or outside the Bank’s premises and refer to appropriate Hospitals whenever called upon to attend even when such necessity arises outside normal working hours. (iii)Administering all types of injections - The responsibility for administering all types of injections rests with the Medical Consultant for any untoward reaction. As a rule, administration of injections by the Pharmacists in Medical Consultant’s absence is discouraged. The Medical Consultant will be required to train the Pharmacists to administer routine and simple type of injections when the work is heavy. (iv)Important dressings and minor surgeries are to be handled only by the Medical Consultant. If he/she is convinced that the Pharmacists have the requisite competence, routine dressings may be handled by them. (v)In case of Cardio-vascular or other major emergencies and accidents, the Medical Consultant should accompany the patient to the hospital, if they are available at the location 6. To visit any member of the Bank's Staff staying in the Quarters whenever required to do so by the Bank and submit a report on their health. For such visits the Medical Consultant will be paid visit fees as per the schedule of rates fixed by the Bank. 7. To issue certificate in support of leave on medical grounds wherever necessary and countersign the certificates produced by the employees from other qualified medical practitioners, if the Medical Consultant is satisfied about the genuineness of the case. 8. To attend to Officers and their family members at their residence when required by them and charge a visit fee or consultation fee from them, as fixed by the Bank having regard to the local conditions. Such visit fee/consultation fee, so fixed, will be inclusive of charges for administration of injections, etc. No other charges shall be levied by Medical Consultant for such visit 9. If and when required to do so, the Medical Consultant will certify in such forms as may be prescribed by the Bank from time to time as to state about the health and / or fitness for service of any employee or any prospective employee who may be selected for appointment at any Office of the Bank. 10. To issue order forms (prescribed) on the approved chemists of the Bank for supply of special/costly drugs or injections required for curative purpose to the Bank's staff and forward copies thereof to the Bank for payment of relating bills. 11. To use the Medical Consultant’s good offices/contacts for securing hospital facilities in case any employee of the Bank or their family (for indoor hospitalization under Direct Settlement Facility) requires it. 12. To inspect the Office Premises/Staff Quarters and Officers' Quarters once in a month and report whether they are kept in a sanitary and hygienic condition. 13. To do prophylactic inoculations for typhoid, etc. and vaccination for small-pox whenever necessary. 14. To submit an annual report as on the 30th June in the prescribed form on the general health of the staff. 15. To ensure proper storage of medicines and their distribution as well as the maintenance of all necessary records in this regard. 16. To advise on drug indents, and to counter-check the drug stock-balance and consumption. 17. The Medical Consultant will adhere to the Code of Conduct as mentioned in Annex-III 26. The contract will be valid for a period of three (3) years from the date of engagement subject to acceptance of the terms and conditions. 27. The contract can be terminated by either side by giving a notice of three months or three months’ remuneration in lieu thereof. During the notice period the Medical Consultant shall continue to discharge his/her contractual obligations unless specifically dispensed with by the Bank. 28. In case of any breach of the terms and conditions, the Bank reserves the right to terminate the contract of the Medical Consultant forthwith without assigning any reason and without any claim for compensation. 29. Any dispute arising on account of the contract shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts at Kolkata. Further, the Medical Consultant should also refrain from being in a state of intoxication in public place. 12. No Medical Consultant shall indulge in any act of sexual harassment of any woman including women employees at work place. Explanation: For this purpose, "Sexual Harassment" shall include such unwelcome sexually determined behavior, whether directly or by implication as: - a) Physical contact and advances, b) demand or request for sexual favours, c) sexually coloured remarks, d) showing pornography, e) Any other unwelcome physical, verbal or non-verbal conduct of a sexual nature besides, all such definition/interpretation as applicable in the statute/laws. 13. The contract is liable to be terminated if a Medical Consultant is arrested for debt or on a criminal charge or is detained in pursuance of any process of law. 14. Medical Consultant shall not give, solicit or receive nor shall offer to give solicit or receive, any gift, gratuity, commission or bonus in consideration of or return for the referring, recommending or procuring of any patient for medical, surgical or other treatment.
