The Reserve Bank of India will on December 13, 2001 make available coins up to Rs 800 to members of public at Union Bank of India, Andheri (E) Branch, Mayani Manor, Opp. Vishal Hall, Sir M. V. Road, Andheri (East), Mumbai 400 069. The coins worth Rs 800 will be available in `Potlas' of 100 pieces each of Re 1, Rs.2 and 5. The facility at this branch will be available to members of public from 11.30 a.m. onwards.

The Reserve Bank has extended this special facility as a part of its overall efforts to mitigate the hardship faced by members of public in obtaining coins.
