FAQs on Overseas Direct Investment

The investing firm will have to be the member of the respective all-India professional organisation / body and the investment amount should not exceed US$ 1 million. or its equivalent in one financial year.
Remittance cannot be made directly or indirectly to Bhutan, Nepal, Mauritius or Pakistan. The individual will have to designate a branch of an AD through which all the remittances under the Scheme will be made.
