Long Term Repo Operations (LTROs)
As announced in the Statement on Developmental and Regulatory Policies on February 06, 2020, it has been decided to conduct Long Term Repo Operations (LTROs) for one-year and three-year tenors for up to a total amount of ₹ 1,00,000 crores at the policy repo rate. 2. RBI to conduct Overnight Variable Rate Reverse Repo auction under LAF on February 10, 2020
The Reserve Bank of India will conduct the following Variable Rate Reverse Repo auction on February 10, 2020, Monday, as per the revised guidelines on Term Repo Auctions issued on February 13, 2014. On the basis of an assessment of the current and evolving macroeconomic situation, the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) at its meeting today (February 6, 2020) decided to: keep the policy repo rate under the liquidity adjustment facility (LAF) unchanged at 5.15 per cent.
