Prompt Corrective Action Framework - IDBI Bank Limited

RBI releases 2020 list of Domestic Systemically Important Banks (D-SIBs)
SBI, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank continue to be identified as Domestic Systemically Important Banks (D-SIBs), under the same bucketing structure as in the 2018 list of D-SIBs. The additional Common Equity Tier 1 (CET1) requirement for D-SIBs was phased-in from April 1, 2016 and became fully effective from April 1, 2019. The Lakshmi Vilas Bank Ltd. branches to operate as DBS Bank India Ltd. branches from November 27, 2020
The Government of India has today sanctioned the Scheme for the amalgamation of the Lakshmi Vilas Bank Ltd. with DBS Bank India Ltd. The amalgamation will come into force on the Appointed date i.e. November 27, 2020. All the branches of the Lakshmi Vilas Bank Ltd. will function as branches of DBS Bank India Ltd. with effect from this date.
