RBI Releases 'Quarterly Statistics on Deposits and Credit of SCBs: March 2020’
Today, the Reserve Bank released Quarterly Statistics on Deposits and Credit of Scheduled Commercial Banks (SCBs), March 2020 on its Database on Indian Economy (DBIE) portal (web-link: https://dbie.rbi.org.in/DBIE/dbie.rbi?site=publications#!3). Data on total credit and deposits disaggregated by type, are classified by states/union territories (UTs), districts, centres, population groups and bank groups. These data are collected from SCBs, including Regional Rural Ban

Sectoral Deployment of Bank Credit - April 2020
Data on sectoral deployment of bank credit collected from select 33 scheduled commercial banks, accounting for about 90 per cent of the total non-food credit deployed by all scheduled commercial banks, for the month of April 2020 are set out in Statements I and II. Highlights of the sectoral deployment of bank credit are given below: On a year-on-year (y-o-y) basis, non-food bank credit growth decelerated to 7.3 per cent in April 2020 from 11.9 per cent in April 2019.
Data on sectoral deployment of bank credit collected from select 33 scheduled commercial banks, accounting for about 90 per cent of the total non-food credit deployed by all scheduled commercial banks, for the month of April 2020 are set out in Statements I and II. RBI launches the May 2020 round of Consumer Confidence Survey
The Reserve Bank of India has been regularly conducting Consumer Confidence Survey (CCS). The May 2020 round of the Survey is now being launched. The survey seeks qualitative responses from households, regarding their sentiments on general economic situation, employment scenario, price level, households’ income and spending. The survey is conducted regularly in 13 cities, viz., Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow
