	Supply Installation Testing & Commissioning (DSITC) of X-Ray Baggage Inspection System at Bank’s Office Building, RBI, Kanpur
1.1.1	Eligibility criteria:
(a)	Reserve Bank of India, Estate Department, Kanpur (Refer as The Bank in subsequent) invites sealed Bids From Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) or their authorized dealers having recommendation from OEMs for participating in the bid.
(b)	and having the service setup in Kanpur / Lucknow
1.2	Important Information
A	Estimated cost of the work	Rs 19 Lakh
B	Bid security amount / EMD	Rs.38,000/- (Rs. Thirty Eight Thousand only) along with the bid.
C	The Bid Security shall be in form of a Demand Draft in favour of Reserve Bank of India payable at	Kanpur
D	Cost of Tender document either in cash or in form of Demand Draft as state above	Rs. 500/-(Rs. Five Hundred Only)
E	Date and place of issue of Tender documents from office and downloaded from RBI website www.rbi.org.in	(Estate Department, RBI, Kanpur) From October 07, 2016 to October 24, 2016 during office hours Monday to Friday.
G	Last date and place of submission of completed Bid	October 24, 2016 up to 14:00 Hrs
H	Date & time of opening of Technical Bids (Part-I)	October 24, 2016 at 16:000 Hrs
I	Date & time of opening of Financial Bids (Part-II)	Shall be intimated to all bidders later after scrutiny of technical bids
J	Commencement Date	From 10th day of date of issue of work order,
K	Defects Liability Period(DLP)/ Guarantee	One year from the date of completion of the work
L	Retention Money	Bank Guarantee (Clause 3.6)
M	Liquidated Damages	Rs. 700/- per Day for the delay subject to maximum 10 % of the contract amount.
N	Payment condition	Refer clause 3.30
O	Validity of the tender	90 days from the date of opening of technical bid
P	All disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction	Kanpur

1.3	Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Kanpur reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids without assigning any reasons and also reserves the right to relax any of the terms and conditions. No Bidder shall have any cause of action or claim against the RBI for rejection of his Bid.
1.4	All information submitted in response to this Tender shall be the property of Reserve Bank of India and it shall be free to use the concept of the same at its will.
