Corrigendum dated March 3, 2021

(Advt. No. 1A/2020-21 dated January 28, 2021)

Corrigendum to Para 3(III) -1 of our advertisement no. 1A/2020-21 dated January 28, 2021 on Minimum Educational Qualifications for the post of Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) - (General).

The essential eligibility criteria in educational qualification for the post of Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) - (General) may be read as under:

Minimum Educational Qualifications (as on 1st of January 2021)

1. Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) - (General)

Graduation in any discipline /Equivalent technical or professional qualification with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) or Post-Graduation in any discipline/ Equivalent technical or professional qualification with minimum 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) in aggregate of all semesters / years.

Note:

Graduation level:

• Any such course from a recognised University / Institute that is taken after Class XIIth and is at least of 3 years’ duration / candidates possessing professional or technical qualifications which are recognised by the Government as equivalent to professional or technical graduation will be eligible for admission to the examination, subject to obtaining minimum marks prescribed above.

• Candidates who have passed the Final Examination for Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India may also apply for the post, subject to obtaining minimum marks prescribed above.

Post-Graduation level:

• Any such course from a recognised University / Institute that is taken after Graduation and is at least of 2 years’ duration / recognised by the Government as equivalent to professional or technical Post-Graduation will be eligible for admission to the examination, subject to obtaining minimum marks prescribed above.

Note: All other terms & conditions as mentioned in advertisement number 1A/2020-21 dated January 28, 2021 remain unchanged. Corrigendum, if any, on this advertisement will be issued only on the Bank’s website www.rbi.org.in.

Caution

It has come to the notice of Reserve Bank of India that some fraudsters falsely promising to offer job for the posts in the bank are sending Appointment letters through emails by using fake domains which do not belong to the Reserve Bank of India, but these could be deceptively similar involving use of words such as RBI, RESERVEBANK, etc.

It is hereby clarified that recruitments for various posts filled by the bank are advertised on our official website. Also, all details regarding recruitment e.g. Call letters, interview schedule, final result, etc., are published only on our official website https://opportunities.rbi.org.in. In view of this, the Reserve Bank of India cautions members of public to be aware of such fake Appointment letters issued by fraudsters promising job in the Bank. Any Advertisements/ Communication from other sources should be cross verified for authenticity from the website.
