Dear Sir/Madam,

Formation of new district in the State of West Bengal -
Assignment of Lead Bank Responsibility

The Government of West Bengal vide Gazette Notification No.634-PAR(AR)/O/2R-4/12 dated June 20, 2014 had notified the formation of a new district viz. Alipurduar in the State of West Bengal. It has been decided to assign the lead bank responsibility of the new district as detailed below:-

2. District Working Code of 383 has been allotted to Alipurduar district for the purpose of BSR reporting by banks.

3. There is no change in the lead bank responsibilities of the erstwhile district and of other districts in the State of West Bengal.
