The Reserve Bank of India, in consultation with the Government of India, has converted a security from its portfolio maturing in 2018-19 having total face value of about ₹ 10,000 crore to longer tenor security maturing in 2031-32. The transaction has been conducted on November 22, 2017 at the Fixed Income Money Market and Derivatives Association of India (FIMMDA) prices.
