Reserve Bank rejects application for certificate of Registration of Belani Finance Limited, Kolkata
The Reserve Bank of India, has on September 1, 2005 rejected the application for certificate of registration submitted by Belani Finance Limited having its office at 'India House', 9th floor, 69, Ganesh Chandra Avenue, Kolkata – 700 013.
Following rejection of application for certificate of registration, Belani Finance Limited can not transact the business of a non-banking financial institution.
The Reserve Bank of India has taken this action under powers conferred on it by Clause (a) wof Section 45-I of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.
