Sovereign Gold Bonds, issued on May 12, 2017, held in dematerialised form shall be eligible for trading (in terms of Para 17 of Government of India notification) with effect from June 2, 2017 (Friday) on stock exchanges recognised by the Government of India under the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956. Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme 2017-18 - Series I was announced by the Government of India on April 20, 2017.
