Marginal Standing Facility Rates

As you are aware, Reserve Bank of India announced various measures yesterday to address the exchange rate volatility. As a part of the measures, it has been decided to recalibrate the Marginal Standing Facility (MSF) rate at 300 basis points above the policy Repo rate under the Liquidity Adjustment Facility (LAF) with immediate effect. Consequently, the Marginal Standing Facility (MSF) rate will now be 10.25 per cent.

2. All other terms and conditions of the current MSF Scheme will remain unchanged.
