The Reserve Bank of India has placed on its website today "Draft Guidelines on Note Authentication and Fitness Sorting Parameters" for comments /views, which may be sent by post to the Chief General Manager, Department of Currency Management, Reserve Bank of India, 4th floor, Amar Building, Sir P.M. Road, Mumbai 400001 or may be sent by email on or before January 06, 2010.

The Reserve Bank of India will finalize and issue the guidelines after examining the views/feedback received.
