Exchange of Soiled Notes : RBI adds two More Centres
In an effort to reach out the public, the Reserve Bank of India will now also extend the facility of making available coins of Re.1, Rs. 2, and Rs. 5 and exchanging soiled notes in Ghatkopar (W) and Bhandup (W). The Reserve Bank of India will shortly be issuing notes in the denomination of Rs.100 and Rs.50 in the Mahatma Gandhi Series with capital letter 'R' inset in both the numbering panels.
