Meeting Schedule of the Monetary Policy Committee for 2023-2024

RBI to conduct 5-day Variable Rate Repo auction under LAF on March 24, 2023
On a review of current and evolving liquidity conditions, the Reserve Bank of India has decided to conduct a fine-tuning 5-day Variable Rate Repo (VRR) auction for the fortnight beginning March 24, 2023 instead of the main operation of a 14-day variable rate Repo/ Reverse Repo auction. Change of date of reversal for operations under LTRO and TLTRO due to holiday
The Reserve Bank had conducted a Long Term Repo Operation (LTRO) on March 09, 2020 and a Targeted Long Term Repo Operation (TLTRO) on April 09, 2020. Sectoral Deployment of Bank Credit - January 2023
Data on sectoral deployment of bank credit for the month of January 20231 collected from 40 select scheduled commercial banks, accounting for about 93 per cent of the total non-food credit deployed by all scheduled commercial banks, are set out in Statements I and II. On a year-on-year (y-o-y) basis, non-food bank credit2 registered a growth of 16.7 per cent in January 2023 as compared with 8.3 per cent a year ago.
