Alteration in the name of the bank in the Second Schedule to the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 - ' Chohung Bank to Shinhan Bank'
We advise that the name of ' Chohung Bank ' has been changed to ' Shinhan Bank ' in the Second Schedule to the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 with effect from 12th August 2006, i.e. the date on which the relative notification DBOD.No.IBD. 114/23.13.072/2006-07 dated July 25th 2006 was published in the Gazette of India (Part III-Section 4).
