The Reserve Bank of India has appointed Shri S.B. Mishra, I.A.S. (Retd.) as Banking Ombudsman at Bhubaneshwar from August 21, 2001.

As Banking Ombudsman, Shri Mishra would have his office at Reserve Bank of India Building, Bhubaneshwar and his jurisdiction and authority would extend to complaints against branches and offices of banks located within the territorial limits of the State of Orissa.
