Today, the Reserve Bank released its annual publication “Handbook of Statistics on the Indian Economy, 2023-24” (HBS). The publication, 26th in the series, provides detailed time-series data on the Indian economy.

This volume includes a wide range of data on macroeconomic and financial variables, such as national income, prices, money, banking, financial markets, public finances, foreign trade, and balance of payments, along with select socio-economic indicators. For more detailed and updated time-series data, users can visit the RBI’s Data Portal, Database on Indian Economy (DBIE) here, which is regularly updated.
