Deposit Pre-2005 Currency Notes in Your Bank Accounts before June 30, 2015: RBI urges Public

RBI releases Charter of Customer Rights
The Reserve Bank of India today released a Charter of Customer Rights, which enshrines broad, overarching principles for protection of bank customers and enunciates the ‘five’ basic rights of bank customers. These are: (i) Right to Fair Treatment; (ii) Right to Transparency; Fair and Honest Dealing; (iii) Right to Suitability; (iv) Right to Privacy; and (v) Right to Grievance Redress and Compensation. RBI Cautions against Misuse of cancelled NBFC Certificate of Registration
It has come to the notice of the Reserve Bank of India that some entities/imposters, including companies, partnership firms, individuals, etc., are fraudulently impersonating as Non Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs) registered with the Reserve Bank of India, by forging the Certificate of Registration cancelled by Reserve Bank of India. It is understood that entities/imposters are promising loans to the needy public at attractive rates and collecting money from them

Credit Card in the name of RBI : RBI cautions Once More about the Newest Kind of Fraud perpetrated in its Name
The Reserve Bank of India today issued one more alert to the public about the newest form of fraud perpetrated in its name - a credit card issued by fraudsters in the name of the Reserve Bank.
