RBI to conduct 15-day Variable Rate Reverse Repo auction under LAF on April 06, 2023
The Reserve Bank of India will conduct a Variable Rate Reverse Repo auction on April 06, 2023, Thursday, as under: Sl. Sectoral Deployment of Bank Credit - February 2023
Data on sectoral deployment of bank credit for the month of February 20231 collected from 40 select scheduled commercial banks, accounting for about 93 per cent of the total non-food credit deployed by all scheduled commercial banks, are set out in Statements I and II. On a year-on-year (y-o-y) basis, non-food bank credit2 registered a growth of 15.9 per cent in February 2023 as compared with 9.2 per cent a year ago. Standing Liquidity Facility for Standalone Primary Dealers
On a review of current and evolving liquidity conditions, the Reserve Bank of India has decided that an additional amount of ₹5,000 crore will be made available under the Standing Liquidity Facility for standalone primary dealers on March 31, 2023 at the prevailing repo rate. Allotments will be made at the discretion of the Reserve Bank. The amount availed under the special arrangement will be repayable on or before April 5, 2023. (Yogesh Dayal) Chief General Manager
